Trip report

I got into Sunsport a couple hours later than I'd planned on and it was dark. I managed to get the new tent up and air in the mattress before I was summoned to the Opening Circle in their rec hall.

Once there we played a game that helped us to remember one another's names and not only was it fun but it really worked and I remembered everyone's name all weekend which is unbelievable for me! LOL!

We socialized a bit, ate home made apple pie and then I snuck off to finish setting up my campsite. Later on there was a dance and I got to meet more people. I went swimming and hottubbing too.

Next day we had a workshop at 9:30 which was simply awsome. It was about values and what order you'd place them in and why. We all compared results and had some good laughs.

Then there was the singdown game where we decided on a word and then had to come up with as many songs as we could that had that word in it. The challenge was that we had to sing the song till we hit that word.

Later on was another workshop on what men want from women and what women want from men. I think the guys were telling us what wanted to hear but maybe I'm wrong.

That evening was another dance. I sat at my campsite with another single and we had some Bloody Marys and talked for a couple hours. More hottubbing and then to bed. Boy, that air mattress sure is comfortable!

Sunday we got started at 10 with a third workshop on body acceptance and after that I had to cut out early but I'm so happy with this singles gathering and Morley (who ran most the events) inspired me enough that I'm going to try and hold some of the workshops here in the Tampa area. He's such an awsome guy!

It was a relaxing but thought provoking weekend and Sunsport Gardens is such a great place. Everyone was telling me hello all the time and knew us all by name. (They must know Morley's game )

I'm definitely going back for the Midwinter Festival this February and I'd recommend it very highly.
