It would appear that Prudence may not be a "prude." I think she answered the question rather well.

" 'cause it's fun and it feels good" is a good reason to be nude for both children and adults.

A side note -- I believe it's possible to be nude and still have your innocence and your modesty, no matter what your age.

It's the typical adult looking at children through their own jaded eyes.

The mother cannot understand how two four-year-old girls can just enjoy "rubbing their butts together" without it being anything but innocent fun. The girls are not being sexual, they are just doing it for the fun of it, hence the laughing and the response.

That is one of my pet peeves. I can't stand it when adults tell children not to do something the child views as innocent fun because the adult thinks it is too sexual or whatever (other than unsafe). It reminds me of a father of a five-year-old boy where I once worked.

One day, the boy was going home and went to give his friend, another boy, a hug. After the hug, the father talked to him sternly, reminding him that boys don't hug other boys. I couldn't say anything to him at the time, but I was thinking that man has serious issues.

We let our kids frolic naked when they were young. The older one was less inclined. We didn't tell them to stop being naked but they decided when. By the way we only became nudists a some years after the kids left home.

I wish we had all frolicked naked with them all those years ago. Now we are naked and they are prudish and shy with their bodies - what a switch !

Adults passing shame to their children, robbing them of their innocence, robbing them of their childhood.

Some times we as adults can be overprotective of our kids. We need to relax with our kids. We have raised our as nudist and they are good adults. We only have one left that is 12 and she is well adjusted. She knows where and when it is approate to be nude or not. But we still watch.

Interesting thread for my family and I. I can only say that we have loved every minute of the "frolicking" nude we have done with our twins-now 20-and confirmed nudists! Parents-do not have regrets later in life-enjoy it while you can as the kids grow sooooooooooooooo fast!
