In photo for 11 December, notice the guy in the middle of the picture is not nude and is taking pictures. Is this a good image promoting nudism?

No one else in the photo is nude either. The women are topless.
What about the nude guy to the left taking pictures? Is it only okay to take pics if you're nude too?

Seriously, who cares if he's taking pictures. He's out there with a bunch of half to totally naked people. We don't know what he was taking a picture of, and we don't know if 5 minutes later he shed his boxers to ride nude with everyone else. Besides, someone took a picture of all of them and we're displaying it on the internet.

Me thinks someone needs glasses. There are 3 guys who are totally nude.

This was in the centre of London's shopping/tourist district, there were hundreds of people taking pictures, at least this guy was participating in the WNBR, perhaps he was taking pictures of friends also participating.
I see nothing wrong with this situation at all.

I care if a photograph is taken of me without my permission.

Let's confiscate his camera and remove all unflattering photos! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/rolleyes2.gif aquaboy said what I was going to say: someone took a picture of the whole thing so how can you deride one participant for taking a picture?
But let's take a closer look at the picture: There are naked people in the middle of the street on bikes and no one on that side of the street is upset. One woman seems to be plastered on a chair watching the bike ride. Others are going about their business as usual.
Seems fairly positive to me.

The bike ride is not promoting nudism.
Most all if not all of public nude bike rides are demonstrations or protests that happen to have clothing optional or nude rides.
I’m not aware of any bike rides solely for the purpose of promoting nude or naturist nude recreation or nudism.
CFI and “Nudes in the News” covers just that “Nudes in the News” not necessarily just nudist, naturist, resort, and club nudist news.

I understand that. It's the placement as the photo of the day on this site. Some naturists are with good reason reluctant to have their picture taken. I was just wondering if a different example from the bike ride would be more appropriate.

I personally thought it was a great picture regardless of the underlying message or issues that the people were there to express. It looks like they were having fun sans clothing with nobody causing them problems. I kind of wish I was in the photo with them.

Anyone partially or fully nude in a public demonstration or protest is asking for there picture to be taken. There is nothing against the law that I know of taking photographs in public of any subject unless it’s placarded or a national security risk to do so.
Of the ones nude, I doubt if you could pick out a hand full of the ones that are regular nudists except for the ones with no tan lines.
As "Fun2Bnude" say's there all having fun or they wouldn't be there. The pictures is as good or better as one with all nudes as it shows a balanced view on partial or full nudity. Riding a bike fully nude is not wise on the feet or head anyway.

Jason Lee if your in a public you have no say so on who might take a picture of you dressed or nude, and there is nothing illegal, or is permission required for someone to take your picture.

I think if you are in a group naked and having fun like in these rides you are promoting nudism. You are showing the public that you can be naked and do some fun activity other than sex while naked. How is this not promoting nudism other than making it obvious by holding signs that proclaim were are nudists and support your local club. Even if the group is protesting something else. It shows people you can be confident in your own skin and not feel shame. Which is a part of the nudist/naturist ideals.

Are we also saying you have to display genitals to be a naturist? or have them uncovered, so it is ok to where a T shirt but not shorts?
