I guess I'm just stupid, I won't post anymore, sorry for those I've offended, just wanted to se how others felt, guess gay marriage is ok, hope there kids turn out ok, sorry for my spelling, hey I had some college but spelling wasn't my magor. I have plenty of opinions about a lot of things, but unless you want endless flame wars about stuff that has nothing to do with nudism, we have got to try to stay off those hot button topics that can't be tied in with nudism somehow.

We also have to be real honest with ourselves and ask if at any time has our criticism of a certain activity lapsed into attacks on a person. I may have crossed the line on that myself, but I am trying not to.

I also admit to going down rabbit trails, that is off-topic posts on the INA Forum, but there are few other places where we can post our ideas and views about nudism and controversy a-plenty in that subject alone.

well riverrat does this every now and again, he posts obviously crazy, insulting posts, and than gets upset when people do not agree. he than threatens to leave, we ask him to stay, he is ok for a while, and than he gets wacky again. let's have some consistancy....

I think I'll leave as well. The other day, I replied to a post and did not get any recognition for it. I can't remember the subject nor the day, but the response was pretty good. At least I thought so, but by not getting any recognition for it, it's hard to guess what others might have thought. I think I'll go and put on my clothes, pout and watch t.v. for the rest of the afternoon. I'll even have a couple of beers hoping that will rid me of my current condition (sober). Tomorrows another day and maybe I'll forget and start being naked again. By that time, I might remember what it was I replied to that I didn't receive any recognition for. /infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

nude m, i'm with you. i've had it with arguing with trailscout. he keeps debating his christian morality and i've had enough. my shorts are going on when i'm done with this typing and they will stay on till i go to bed. hopefully my headache will subside and i will not see blurry. than maybe i will find all these long prejudice based posts will be a bad dream, and people can get along without conforming to one vision of humanity. OMG, that was a long run on thought...

Keith and everyone else....I think there is more to River Rats story than meets the eye. As a matter of fact, I believe there are many who come to this site with more in common than liking to be nude. Just from reading the postings of some, I get the feeling there are many underlying reasons for their participation in the forums. I will attempt to put my theory to the test by posting a poll. I'm baaaaack. My pouting days are gone, for now. I've recovered from my, can't remember, the beers made me forget. Yea, I had a couple for just about all of those concerned, and for those who probably thought about it. I even had one for those who could have cared less. Oh yea, I'm back to being nude again (never really left the nude scene), but I did pout and watch t.v. for awhile, but that got old.

Now for the punch line: I was just trying to portray RR who keeps threatening to leave, only just to reappear again. C'mon RR, just because someone did not agree with you, or even thought you were wrong, is no reason to threaten to leave. Maybe you said something that was wrong, but everything said on these forums is not to be considered chisled in stone. Lighten up and let's just all get along. We're all here to enjoy the nude life together, some more so than others. There are some things that I don't necessarily agree with all the time as well, but I don't let it bother me (I just don't respond).

Now I am not advocating harming a single one of RR's whiskers. I have no quarrel with him. I am simply saying that he took a lot of heat from some of the beagles in this forum and I can't blame him for skeedaddling for a while. He may dig a new burrow somewhere else or he may come hippity hoppin' on back in a few weeks. What are the odds? I ain't takin' my finger off the trigger!

I am nearly out of beer so I may be gone to town for a while on a beer run. Of course, I don't open the bottles til I get home and once home, I don't leave the porch if I have put away more than two.

In the old days, my great great grandaddy used to make his own whiskey down by the spring. A feller didn't even have to leave his own property to imbibe spirits of an evening. How much Tennessee whiskey would it take before great great granddaddy would run around nekkid on the farm firing his shotgun in the air? We may never know.

Now I am always sober as a judge when I post here, but my thoughts may wander a bit as the evening wears on. I would suppose if you get tired enough you could even get off-topic on an off-topic thread. Now there's something to swirl around in your head as you drift off to dreamland.

You are right, I left for a while, not because I was getting persacuted, but the whole place had gotten away from what we were here for, to have fun and talk about nudist things, Now on a couple of topics, I have gotten off stream a little. Though some may not think so I felt they needed to be brought up. Some times we get strayed by our own beleifs and forget why were here. I'm here as long as Corey and the rest will let me stay and sometimes get off track. From what I have read from others, sometimes we need to stray a little. But I believe we have new nudist/naturists here every day and we need to be able to go back to the basics, they ask the two or three old questions, why leave them behind, lets answer. Sorry this is so long, I couldn't find the new post. Hey Croydon, I've been here a while, you can bounce stuff off me all you want, Oh by the way I guess I'll be here till I get fired.
