I think it would be interesting to talk about what naturism means for each of us.
I saw a french documantary about naturism called "Vivre nu".
I think that the two words that come most often in this movie is freedom and hapiness.
I think that naturism is a symbol of liberty because tyranies do not like the naked body. Plus, there is really a feel of freedom by swimming naked.
Another point that impressed me about naturism is that children are particularly happy in naturists centers and that is remarquable in many ways...
When I was a young boy at school, I remember that there was a lot of violence at school, particularly during breaks, boys were throwing rocks at each other and it was really a dangerous and unhappy place to be...
So when I fisrt saw children happily playing in a naturist swimming pool, I was quite impressed...
I think that with naturism, tolerance increase and violence decrease greatly.
I remember a hot summer day when there were hundreds of people in a nudist center. There was a small indoor swimming pool. It is the kind of pool in witch, in a textile world, you began to feel that your personal space is too small when you are more than 3 or 4 people in the pool. But since it was a naturist center and all people were nude, we were about 50 persons in that pool and everyone seems very happy to be there! That is really the miracle of naturism. In a textile pool of that size, you would never see more than 4 or 5 people at the same time in that pool, but with nudity, 50 persons were happily in that pool...
I think also that generally, naturists feel better about themselves than non naturists.
In a naturist environement, it is easier to be who you are and to live at peace with nature and other people.
I think that naturism could solve a lot of problems if non naturist were more open and better informed about naturism.
I think that for naturists, being nude is a very liberating experience.
