Just curious as to how many old timers are still here.
I started posting here in early 2001 and had a member # of 300 and something, but also went as MJB screen name until that computer went down...x- amount of time psses and I get another computer...I sign up as R.M.Greenman but due to a e-mail snaffu, had to resign as R.M.Greenman2.

Been here since March, 2002. Seen a lot of changes, lot of people come and go. Still like to read the forums everyday and participate on certain issues.
At first, there were no moderators 'full time' so this site was like reading a soap opera. Still is to an extent, but the moderators have done an excellent job of keeping the B.S. out of here and the trolls are being wiped out before they have a chance to get a grip.
Nice topic Greenman. I've wondered how many of us 'old timers' are still around myself. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/smoking.gif

Yup...The full time moderators helped out quite a bit. After putting up with the On-Line commandos like Mountainman..or Beachlover.
I know that we still have our share of trolls and such, but nothing near as bad as those two.
We used to have conversations with Red...Corey stopped by on a regular basis...

I still check in most everyday, but don't do much posting anymore. It seems the same topics keep popping up, but there are still some interesting ones now and then.

I've been here since 2003 and, like barelybob, check in most every day to at least read the forums. Over the years, I have visited lots of nudist sites, but feel this one is still the best.

I registered Jan 2, 2002. The board was still unmoderated, and was quickly dominated by some truly mean people. Fortunately the owners began to provide moderation, or it could never have succeeded.
I was always under the impression that I discovered the board during the first few weeks that it was available, but evidently not since Greenman signed up nearly a year before I did.

I remember how right after the towers were hit, this board/forum got real quiet for awhile...and we had a big U.S. Flag flowing in the corner for many months afterwards....I think I had just a 9mo gap after my one computer went down.....by then alot of faces (?)changed!

Under my avatar it states that I registered on 2-9-02. However, I was active on this forum for at least a year before they started the present registration.
Was originally nudkiwi but when they made changes to the site could no longer login under that name.So changed to TANZ.

Well this last time looks like I have been logging on this site with the current moniker NudeAl since 2003 but I was here before that. I can't remeber thename I used back then and that was the problem I had to re-register in order to get on. But what the heck I still log on I will even give it a try once get over to Iraq heading over there again in a couple of weeks or so.

Been here since 2003 and yes the board has changed a lot. I think I miss the wildness the board had then. The world today is locked down with too many rules and regulations and "big brother" control. The natural wild spirit of the human race is being regulated out and so will be bred out of us.
However I still come here almost daily to stir a few pots if I can find some to stir.

Although I've only been a registered member since July, I've been reading the boards here for more than five years. I'd have registered much sooner, but I'm such a procrastinator.

Why don't you change your name to "ActionMan" ? but I guess that would be too much to ask at short notice http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/idea3.gif

Just looked in today - the first time for a long long time. I first posted way back in 2001 and even though the last time I posted was over three years ago I still rank 20th in terms of number of posts. I must have had a lot of time on my hands back then!
As a European I always enjoyed learning (and debating) about the differences between our cultures but I stopped posting when the moderators became too heavy handed. When you have spent time finely crafting a post it's pretty disheartening for it to be deleted on the whim of a moderator. I recall one occasion when they even changed the terms of service regarding the age of posters so that they could justify retrospectively deleting the posts of a teenager (and all responses by other members)because they touched on the thorny issue of sex.
I also got pretty fed up with all the posts about genital shaving but looking at the latest batch of posts perhaps Clothefree subscribers have now got all the information they could possibly need on the subject!
These days I am still interested in naturism. I tend to concentrate on UK based forums and I've also written a few articles about naturism in Europe for the magazine of British Naturism.
I've spent most of the last year in Holland where nudity is no big deal. At my local sports centre, for example, clothing is banned in the sauna/jacuzzi/steam room suite and mixed nudity is the norm. They also run two nude swimming sessions each week - this is fairly typical of sports centres throughout the country.
Now that summer is all but over it's time for me to be looking for my next work contract so I shouldn't really be wasting my time here should I? http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/no.gif
Best wishes to all.

Registered in March, 2002. Had my first social nude experience in August, 2001 at San Onofre and Black's beach. Found out about the beaches through CFI (INA then), and got up the courage to jump in, so to speak, because of membership and reading the forums, though I still didn't register for another 6 months.
Still read the comments frequently, and occasionally throw in my 2 cents. I have to say that I am enjoying it much more now since it is moderated, and we don't get so much long-winded and endless arguments among a few people.

Holla! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/beam.gif
Been too busy the last 2-3 weeks, but now things have settled down a bit for a while. An awful lot of good people have departed though, and I miss them.
Welcome back, Rik. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
