View Full Version : Nude runs
There was a big writeup about nude runs in the last issue of N, the magazine by TNS. Is anyone planning to do the 5K at Paradise Valley Resort (formerly Hidden Valley) in Dawsonville, Ga on April 27. I hear they have a large turnout. I may try to go to that one. I'm for sure going to run in the 5K at Turtle Lake again this year. That was the best time I had all last year.

There's a 7 1/2 mile nude run in San Francisco May 18. I think you can find info on it at http://baretobreakers.com.

Well, I must say its rather nice to see a bit of offbeat humour in here, everyone is usually so serious. a bit of lighthearted fun never did anyone any harm. Does anyone here use mirc? maybe get together for some lighthearted chatting?
Did you hear about the guy who swallowed a bottle of laxative and a bottle of prozac? he spent a week on the toilet, but felt very good about it.
Pass the Imodium around... /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I guess next time I'll have to choose my words more carefully. I didn't even consider running nude could be taken two ways. But thats alright and I hope everyone had fun. By the way, the winner last year got a free one year membership at the resort and they had awards for each age group.
Looks like there are not too many runners or joggers in the group. I find it a great way to keep in shape. And it was even more fun in the nude.

Hey RiverRat, I mean no disrespect here, but quite frankly lighten up, all of these topics that are posted are getting stale, its nice to break up the monotoney (sp) once and a while. Look at all the replies, people are actually having fun, and it beats talking about the size of ones penis or being shaved. Like I say no disrespect meant here, just have fun, and Stu doesnt like it well he can just go ... well you catch my drift, egads I think I better stop

Sincerely sorry if you found it distastful. Things have been a little tense since you've been away.
This was a real good release, and it got alot of us loosened up to where we started to have fun again. So don't be too upset no harm done.
You mean to tell me that through that whole thread you did not even crack a smile?
You know what maybe we should have a new forum category. One where it would be unlawful to post anything serious, like a nothing but funny stuff forum.

Nude in the North
I have only ran the nude 5K once. That was last June at Turtle Lake here in Michigan. They had about 80 runners and walkers. There were probably as many or more watching the race. All the people that live there were in their yards as you ran by. And they had the kids passing out water every so often.
Ben
I see you're in Western, USA. There are alot of 5K's in Texas and the area, as you can see. I have a brother that lives in Texas, so maybe I will get down there one of these days. What state are you in?

I can't believe this is still going on, must be a marathon.
Thanks mel, you rock. I just hope they have alot of porta-potties on these runs, you know, with your colon problem and all.
I imagine the K in 5K stands for Kaopectate. So a 5K would require 5 bottles, a 10K 10 bottles, is that how it goes??
