All my shaving is done with a Gillette triple-blade shaver - both beard and down under. It does have a battery in it that causes it to vibrate as you use it but now sure if it improves quality of shave. I find it easiest to shave genital area in shower.

I usually preshave above the penis and my beard and mustache area with an electric shaver; this keeps the razor from skipping on my very coarse hair in these spots. Then lather with shave gel or soap in the shower and shave with a triple-edged razor; inside, I do my mustache and beard area before showering; outside, I wet them, lather and shave where I shower outside. I've also one of those vibrating triple-edged ones but don't think it does a thing (other than vibrate and be easy to shut off because of the poor location of its button).

Use a Remington beard trimmer for the short bits and a Gillette Mach 3 for the shaving. Shaving done in the shower

I use the Mach3 Turbo in the shower every morning. I shave my face using shave gel, and then use soap to shave my pubes, penis, and scrotum. I do dry-shave my scrotum every couple of weeks. For some reason it gets MUCH more smooth when I do that.
I use a product called Nad's on my stomach. It's a citrus based gel that's called Sugaring. It's like waxing, but not hot. It's the method we use on my wife's pubes, above her vagina. Around the labia she shaves in the mornings as well.

Best shaving devices?
Huh, I'd have to say the girls at the salon where the Mrs., and I get our hair cut are the best shaving devices.

sounds like the gillette triple blade wins ! thanks for the feedback everyone. Perhaps Gillette could also get some good marketing info out of this .

I bought the Bodygroom by Norelco. It works really well, it just takes a little long. i think it works better dry than if you use it out of the shower. I haven't had anybumps or ingrown hairs since using it for abouta month now and I am a smoothie since I've gotten it and enjoy it so much more.
I use a Gillette Fusion on my face; however, below the belt I use a Schick Quattro. I would feel strange using the same razor on my face and in my pubic region.

Shouldn't be a problem. I try to keep both areas clean and if you shave in shower you can guarantee both areas are clean.
Also your face is more exposed to air and countless germs than your genitals are.

I use the schick disposable razor. Always wanted to try professional waxing but do not know anyone I can ask to do it. What I would like to have is a brazilian wax (hair removed front and back completely). It is okay for a female to attend a salon and request such treatment. Concerned how I, a male, would be received if I asked for such a procedure. Of course while they are at it I would have the whole enchalada done from the neck down.
You are lucky nacktman.

I use a Gillette Fusion power with Fusion gell while in the shower. I shave towards the end of the shower so the area is clean and warm.I also use a shower brush with soap to remove all of the dead skin before I shave.
