Florida Keys Nude/CO beaches

Who knows and can share some good usable info on where to get to beaches with good possibility of going nude and CO along the islands of the Florida Keys,including Key west. I already know there are no nude beaches in Key West,just Atlantic shores Pool Deck,but I think it got tore up last year,probaly fixed by now. I'm taking the Kayaks, so if there's not any known nude spots, we'll just have to find an empty little key and make it our own little resort for the day. That'll likely be more fun anyway.

In Key West there is an isolated section of Higgs Beach (http://floridakeysnaturists.net/newsletter.htm) which is apparently being used as an unofficial c/o beach with the tolerance of local authorities - Florida Keys Naturists are sponsoring a petition to have it named an official nude beach.

Bahia Honda has one of the finest beaches in the world, but despite many rumors I've found no good information about any current nude use there.

Right you are! There are small uninhabited keys well off the causeway that people can boat to, weather permitting.
