Hi David,

You asked a similar question here last year, so I assume you haven't gotten any further with your quest.

You say you're from the Middle East, and if it's any of the Arab states, yes, I can understand why you have no options there.

If you were to apply for immigrant status into Canada, your engineering credentials may help you. Then, it would be a matter of trying to find work at one of the larger naturist resorts we have here -- but there aren't that many. In fact, you'd probably be overqualified to work at one of these places, but...

Do you speak French or Spanish? There are large naturist resorts in both France and Spain that may require someone like yourself. Do a google search on EURONAT (southwestern France) and COSTA NATURA (southern Spain), so you get an idea what these places are like. Then, you may want to write inquiry letters to the owners. Tell them you are willing to be a seasonal employee (six months or less) as a work/study employee -- not on the payroll, but only requiring room (accommodation) and board (meals).

Good luck, and don't give up on your dream.

Probably accurate, but if they do go outside their membership, they want REFERENCES. Nudist references.

Most of the time, members of clubs get the jobs. They've known the people. Often they will work part-time in exchange for membership and lot rental.

Many nudist clubs hire seasonal employees. If you're an AANR member, the Bulletin issues early in the year carry a number of classified advertisements -- BUT -- they're usually looking for someone with specific skills.

If you were a member, say, at a club in Connecticut and applied for a job in a club in Florida you'd have a good chance, because you'd have such a reference.

Finally, most nudist clubs are small businesses. If someone is not a U.S. citizen or has no "Green Card" and is unknown to any nudist park owners there is little chance.

Let's put it this way -- if you owned a nudist park, and had a job opening or needed some work done -- for instance, grounds maintenance, cleaning, chambermaid/master, short-order cook, front desk clerk --- and you had someone in your club who could do this -- would you hire him/her, or put a classified ad out?

I live in a nudist resort in Florida and sadly the employees are not allowed to work nude. It is the same at most of the other clubs in the area. I would jump at the chance to work in the buff. I do own my own business and when I am alone there am usually naked.

Keith, join your favorite club, get in good with the owner or manage, show him your skills, or tell him, and before you know it, you'll be into the best job one could hope for.I wish my problem was only not getting hired, as I have strong maintenance and grounds-keeping skills. It would only be a mater of finding who needs me the most.

Hey...I'd jump at the chance to be able to work in the buff, especially in a nudist resort. Being qualified & experienced in the hospitality & hotel industry, I guess Im open & would like look into other new experiences & working conditions. It remains to be seen on who would hire me though wouldnt it? But, if there's anyone out there interested...you know who to call! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
