need some help!

I was thinking about telling my mom about me being a nudist but i dont know how and if i should right now.I am not sure how she would react to this because we are a pretty religous family. Do any of you have any ideas or thougts about this, and how did some of you tell your family?

You leave an awful lot unsaid. For openers, how old are you? Are you still a minor? Do you still live with your parents? Are you independent?(On your own with a decent job) All of those items are factors in how you might want to go about it. In my case, even thou my family wasn't a nudist family, it wasn't unusual for us, after bathing, to walk from say the bathroom to our bedrooms nude I waited untill I was comfortably on my own to tell them that I had been going to a nude beach and that I was a member of a nudist club. My dads reaction was that he always wanted to go to nudist "colony" but was never quite brave enough to do it! In your case you might want to non-committally weave a comment about a nude beach or resort and gage their reaction. If the reaction is hostile, just drop the subject. If their is at least civil, scout about how they feel about the subject without being committal about it. Good luck to you.

I am in that same situation, but I will not tell them. I was born and raised Catholic, my mom should be a nun. My dad might be okay with it now. My parents are both over 57 yrs old. They are both immigrants and both Catholic and VERY CONSERVATIVE. It is best for all of us they not know. Why tell them if it will be a problem??

I don't think there is a need to tell your mom or anyone for that matter. What you do on your own time is none of their business. I have told my parents but only because they asked. They once asked where I was going and I said to a beach and gave them the name of the beach. My step mom knew it was a nude beach and asked if I would go nude and I said yes. From that day on, they knew I would be at a nude beach whenever I decide to go to the beach. I don't know, guess telling your parents depends on who they are. I basically told mines because I just get a kick out of shocking them, especially my modest and conservative father. It is fun seeing the expression on his face. LOL LOL

AW HECK, tell them now.... what's it going to hurt. you are 20 and in college, responsible adult. what's the worst that could happen?? they might look at you wierd, or maybe they'll get naked with you....

you could tell them worse than your a nudist. I have left a few pamphlets on the kitchen table about the aanr or a few resorts that are clothing optional. They have seen them and I have caught them watching on tv about this matter and they have no problems?!? I think. Being open about ones body never was an issue and hope it never will be.
