Nudity in Dreams

Has anyone experienced an increase in nudity in their dreams since they started going nude? I have. Used to be I had dreams that where someone might have been nude I would never see them clearly. After spending a lot of time around nude people though, whenever I had a dream and someone was nude I would always be albe to see their bodies clearly. Just today I had a dream where I was in a room with a lot of people and I knew that there was a rule that it was OK to be naked (in my dream) but everyone was dressed. It was some kind of conference center. But this woman was nude and I clearly remember noticing her many tan lines from the backside. It was a very vivid dream.

Before getting into social nudity last year I had a lot of dreams with nudity. I believe it was wishful dreaming--wanting to be nude with others and not being able to do so.

Now I rarely have dreams with nudity in them because nudity with others to me now is as natural as breathing. In fact, I can't remember the last time I had such a dream.

As a child I would dream of walking out of my house and playing in the neighborhood naked, as though I were fully clothed. Why I dreamt about this I do not know. At the time I knew nothing about people being nudists.

I've had the same type dream often, all my life practically... long before I got into nudism, and ever since.

I'm in a place... sometimes indoors, sometimes outdoors. There are other people around, doing their own things. They're all clothed. I'm either naked (I use "naked" deliberately because that's how I feel) or just about there (undershorts falling off, etc) At first I'm not really concerned about it, but then I realize how embarrassing it is, but for some reason there really isn't anything I can do about it. usually, there is some other uncomfortable or unpleasant situation taking place as well that ahs nothing to do with my nakedness.

I'm fortunate in that one of the people who is a regular at Haulover nude beach, where I go all the time, is a therapist and dream analyst who has written several books on the subject. She has told me that such dreams have nothing to do with actual nudity, but rather with one's true inner feelings becoming exposed and...well "naked."

I used to have dreams of being naked where other people were clothed and feeling that the other people were disapproving.

Now that I spend more time nude in public situations, I don't have the dreams anymore.

Just curious, how many nudists living in nudist parks, children or adults who spent their childhood in a nudist family, have these "naked" dreams? Would they dream of being clothed in a group of naked people? It is the same feeling.

I, for one, have never felt embarrassed while naked in my dreams but was not raised in a nudist family.

I've had many dreams in which I'm nude. Last night I had one where I was standing near a railroad tracks. A train was sitting on the tracks. Of course I was nude and not embarrassed--why should I be? There was a clothed man working on a flatbed car trying to lift a heavy object that had fallen off it's base. Another nude man climbed up and helped him lift the object.

Then the clothed man turned to thank the other man for his help and stuck out his hand to shake hands. Then he saw for the first time that the man was nude. He just stood and stared with a shocked look on his face. The look on his face made me burst out laughing, and I was still laughing as the nude man jogged away.

Let me try to analyze my own dream. It tells me that I am comfortable with being nude even with a non-nudist even though it was another man. Also, I was very amused at the way non-nudists react to the nudity of others. This tells me that I find the attitude of non-nudists toward nudity a joke.

I work at a school so I sometimes dream I'm nude at work don't even know untill older people comes around. I feel fine but at the same time i feel awkward.
