My event was weak.
I am surrounded by houses full of people. Cars and people go past on the street and backlane.

I took up the potatoes on this hot Sept. 10th day, but felt I had to wear clothes.
Done finally and the clothes are sticking to me with wet perspiration.
In the garage, I removed them and felt a lot cooler while I cleaned up and put away the tools.

I am sure the rest of you will have no trouble beating this story!!!!

I did get out to local creek and get to spend some time nude, soaking up some rays and cooling off, but could'nt figure out how that tied in to gardening.I parked my truck along side the garden in my back yard, for privacy, got naked and picked a few weeds from around my vegetables, just to say i had done some nude gardening then I washed my truck in my speedo, tan through and very small, but other than that, no real free and private time to get naked and really enjoy nude outdoor gardening activities, but i did get to spend a big part of the afternoon nude or real near it. Maybe I'll do my part better next year.I wish there were some plans layed for spending lots of time nude for my birthday tommorow. Would'nt it be wonderful if I got off work in the morning and my wife said lets go to the nudist resort for your birthday. Fat chance, but one can dream, huh?

I got up about 6 am and spent nearly 2 hours nude while getting things ready for a Garage sale.
A little before 8, two of my sisters in law showed up to help. It's an annual family thing.
So I had to spend the next 10 hours dressed in shorts and t shirt. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

But they are gone now. I bet you can't gusss where the shorts are now.

We did manage to sell over $30 worth of garden veggies. Not a bad day considering I had to spend it dressed.
Atleast I got to pick on my Inlaws.

I spent today at Lake Como. It was a beautiful hot sunny day. They're having a singles weekend there, and I got a body painting done by a very talented lady. She painted a headless, armless, female torso with one leg. I wore it until it started to rub off. I wanted to keep it until I got back to Natura to get a photo of it, but it was fast fading away, and I finally washed off what was left. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I did a lot of nude walking while there and tried not to step on any of the many tiny lizards that are there. I don't want to have to clean one of them off the bottom of my sandal. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

At 6 PM I was getting hungry again and decided to return to Natura. Otherwise I would have stay another two hours. My back is red where I couldn't reach with the sunblock. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

I forgot it was nude gardening day http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

I spent most of the day at Lake Como here in FL swimming and chatting with fellow nudists (including Jon-Marc). They were having a singles event and health fair. I got a skin cancer screening (all clear) then went out to the pool and got sunburned. lol

I have been doing some nude yardword in my backyard over the past few days, tho. I'm planning on starting a small vegetable garden and putting in some shelves along my fence to grow herbs on.

I tended to a few of our indoor (potted) plants. Nude was a given, since I didn't get dressed until just before we left home early afternoon (to visit the very textiled in-laws who were joking about the "lunatic" at the nursing home who showed up to the cafeteria wearing only slippers - it only made sense and seemed comfortable to me and this despite the curious looks I got from my wife and mother-in-law during the discussion (yes, the mother-in-law knows)). I wasn't even going to share this, but I decided to so that Nu could see his story may beat more than he might have thought http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif .

Even so I think I'm envious of the day you and Jon-Marc had (and apparently partly together).

Let's see, I spent the morning nude around the house and in the afternoon enjoyed the sun on the deck. I live on the border of a national forest and so we do not have any neighbors other than a few black bears.

I was nude except for about an hour and fifteen minutes in shorts, t-shirt and sandals going out, seeing and coming back from a Through the Garden Gate site.

Got back and picked raspberries. Had an audience, as one of the ladies next door was sitting out and facing towards my lawn. Skipped the patch that has tiny berries that was maybe too close for her comfort and went to the back patch where I picked about 3/4 to 7/8 of a gallon.

Then took my naked hike. Then watched feetsball naked. Went out briefly around 4 to collect some taters, okra and acorn squash to take to church this morning. They sell well there, priced at $0.00 each. Even provide plastic bags.

Still have a few more taters and squash to collect. Darn okra will be going until frost kills the plants.

Saturday is one of the days I normally work part time, so it was just another day for me.

I trimmed back the cottonwood tree, which was getting just a bit unruly, cleaned up the yard, and scowled at a couple of new weeds.

Oh, and bagged about 40 gallons of yard detritus, if that counts.

A friend and I planted 4 plants at Hippie Hollow during the Hill Country Nudist's Fourth Annual Boat Party on Lake Travis in Austin, TX.

There's not much soil in the rocky terrain, so we took about 1 gallon of soil with us.

I celebrated World Nude Gardening Day by checking out the small vinyard we have, to see how the grapes are doing. We will make wine with those grapes, later. Then, I went up to the orchard and checked out our apple crop. Actually picked a few for the wife to make a pie with. Then I went back down to the vinyard and checked out the 'Touch Me Not' herbs to see if they are ready for harvesting. We process them to make a treatment for Poison Ivy rashes and exposures that are frequent in our small part of the world in Minnesota. My wife took photo's of me in these little jobs I did. I will submit them and a short article about them to "N" magazine, to see if they want to use it.

I mowed the yard and weeded the flower beds nude, but forgot it was World Nude Gardening Day. It was just the way I do that work! http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Unfortunately, our garden area is totally exposed to the neighborhood and traffic in the area, not to condusive to nude daytime gardening. But I did go out after dark in the nude to pick a tomato I'd spotted earlier. At least it was something!

I have been in my vegetable garden nude after dark, no problem. I have also managed to work nude in a hidden corner of it in broad daylight when both my neighbors were out of town.

One day, I will have a private garden!!

Sauna: Strange, You are situated just 350 km Northward from me, but I remember that sunday was enormous warm here and sunny, even saturday inspite of strong wind and cloudness I spent all day naked and dressed just 6 at evening when rain started.

Could it be that climate is so different??

Was it last Saturday or Sunday? If it was Saturday, then I really "celebrated" the Nude Gardening Day the whole day nude at my cottage, a significant part of it outdoors. But I didn't do any gardening; that's not necessary at this time of year. (Earlier I have e.g. picked berries from gardened berry bushes in the nude.) The temperature was about 15 ºC at the highest, but that's enough for me. But it is quite sure that last Saturday was the last proper outdoor-nudity day for me this year.

Sauna, come to Georgia to visit! We expect one more month of hot weather and there will be many days in November when nudity will be more comfortable than wearing clothes. As a matter of fact, I often find that on some December afternoons, I do not require clothing. January and February, well, it is easier to go to Florida or seek a sauna to get warm.

Have you space for a glasshouse/greenhouse/hothouse? I remember one hot sunny day in February when it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit with no heat other than the sun (but snow on the ground outside).
