A search of "Circumcision" posts result in 22 pages or approximately 440 post with that Word in the post.

I only saw one other Circumcision Poll and it was Yes/No selection on 143 votes or 70%/30% results

This circumcision poll with 14 votes so far is almost identical in results as to being circumcised or not with more selections.

Circumcised = 72% Uncircumcised = 29%

Do we need a poll on wither to continue this new Circumcision poll or not?

Here are the links to the previous above referenced posts and poll:

The question being asked in this poll is not just whether a person is circumcised but also whether they are happy with their circumcision status. At this writing, 1/3rd of those who are circumcised are reporting that they would rather be intact. If I were the parent of a newborn boy, I wouldn't have the child circumcised if I thought there was such a high likelihood that he would prefer to remain intact.

Polls have repeatedly found that over one-third of men who are circumcised would rather they had been left natural / uncircumcised. I wish I had not been circumcised but physicians were telling parents that it was terribly important...etc. I don't know how many polls, etc., it is going to take before parents start thinking twice before making this decision.

I am circumcised and wish I was not. That skin was there to protect us from the sun and thats the way nature built us back when man was free to roam the earth nude. Only man could come along and fool around with something that not need fooling with.

Circumcision is just one more of the crazy religious practices or maybe one more way now for a doctor to get a few more insurance $$$$$$.

I had two girls and no boys. If we had a boy he would have stayed intact.

Thanks for the poll Mosquito Bait. One more go around about this topic does not bother me. I just do not read what does not interest me.

We were put on this earth nude and intact. Goverments made of men try to control everything.

You’re correct "Evolving" being left naturally intact is a benefit for nudists and sun lovers.

I voted for the first selection and don't know or wouldn't want to know any other way. Any modification of the penile system is penile reduction of many functions, systems and organs and nerves put there for a purpose.

The third selection in this poll is not a 100% cultural identity anymore as many Jewish are selecting or not allowing a traditional or religious mutilation of the foreskin in a bris ceremony [brit milah] any more. There has been transfer of herpes [HSV] and and deaths attributed to oral sucking of blood by mohels during this ceremony without anesthetic. Today the procedure is done in more hygienic and medical ways to prevent disease, infection, and pain and lasting psychological trauma from this procedure.

A new poll about circumcision is always welcomed here because new people join ClothesFree Forums and need to be brought up to speed on this needless, violating procedure. And don't be so quick to write off Jews and Muslims and being circumcised and resigned to having had it done to them. If you check out the incredible number of books, magazines, websites, studies and resources that expose the history of foreskin cutting, you'll find a great many of Jews are leading the movement to end it. They aren't ready to be written off as hopelessly lost to religious traditions. Many cut males may have reconciled they are that way and it's not worth fussing about it, but don't underestimate how many -- once informed and enlightened on the value of the foreskin -- feel violated and don't want the dirty little procedure perpetuated on more of the helpless against their wills. Some of us cut males recognized the intrusion, had common sense and left our sons the way nature made them -- intact and whole. They don't look or LACK like Daddy. My son thanks us for it. A small step to be more civilized and humane.

For more information about circumcision and non-surgical foreskin restoration please visit NORM-UK, a non-profit registered charity at:

NORM-UK (http://www.norm-uk.org)

NORM-UK also have good resources about foreskin health, especially conservative treatments for foreskin problems. The charity is fully regulated and maintains offices in downtown Stone, Staffordshire.

Although the vast majority of British men and boys, like the vast majority of all Europeans, are intact (ie not circumcised) many doctors are not well educated on conservative treatments for foreskin problems and suggest surgery as the only alternative.

Also be sure to check out NOCIRC, a California-based NGO that provides all sorts of health information about circumcision.

NOCIRC (http://www.nocirc.org)

The International Coalition for Genital Integry has a list of non-profits from around the world that are concerned with both female and male circumcision.

Another circumcision topic! lol.

As a Brit who was circumcised as a baby, probably on grounds of health and family tradition, certainly not for any religion. I am very much in the minority, circumcision in the UK is really only considered by those for religious purposes.

I bear no malice or grudges towards my parents for allowing this, in fact i enjoy being in the minority crowd! yes the circumcised penis can look small and succumb to the elements when exposed! this is no big deal for me!!

A friend of mine is a nurse and since reading all these posts over the last year i consulted her for a professional opinion, she explained to me that if she had her way all men would be circumcised, hygiene in younger men is not really an issue but as the man becomes elderly many fail to keep themselves clean and having urinary problems as well, will only lead to infections and a whole host of problems. As a nurse she has had too deal with cleaning/treating a mans penis that has become so infected that the foreskin has stuck to the head of the penis. On her experience if she bares a son in the future he will definately be circumcised.

When you hear a nurses opinion based on her past experiences with the elderly you can well understand her viewpoint. I'm not circumcised and have no wish to be, I'm happy with my skin. I don't know if others are the same but mine is quite slack and I'm able to roll it back and leave it there keeping the head exposed, in fact I'm happy to leave it there by choice. So if it ever came to a medical need for keeping it dry, when I'm old and infirm for example, there won't be a problem, I can keep it dry just as well as a circumcised penis, and I still have my choice.
What is the nurses opinion on that.
