Hello everyone,

I've just joined the forums this afternoon and thought it might be best to give a quick introduction.

My name's Michael - I'm 26 and I'm from Exeter, which is the in South West of England. We're rather fortunate in this part of the world -there are six beaches catering to naturists within easily travelling distance - two of which are officially recognised.

I've been interested in naturism since I was 16, which was when I first visited the beach at Budleigh Salterton. I guess my interest, and my coming to see myself as "a naturist", has grown every year since then.

This year, during the heat wave of June and July, I found myself visiting that beach and the beach at Weston Mouth more often than ever. It was during one such afternoon, lazing in the sun, that I found myself thinking "wouldn't it be nice if this activity wasn't just confined to the summer?"

I also found myself thinking that it would be nice to meet some more people with common interests.

I've visited various beaches with my (now ex) girlfriend, and also one male friend, but neither one of them would describe themselves as naturists. I suppose I just feel that I'd like to meet some people who I don't have to preach the benefits of naturism to!

So, my BN membership application went in on Friday (after many years debating [with myself] whether or not to join) - and here I am on the ClothesFree Forum

That's it really. Just a quick "hi", and I look forward to talking to everyone in due course.

Regards,
Michael

Welcome noodie. You don't have to be crazy to be a naturist but you do have to show others your nuts.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

No - the break-up (at the end of four very good years) didn't have anything to do with naturism. I perhaps gave the wrong impression there.

Without going into too much detail - because this is probably a different topic for a different forum - she was completely comfortable being nude on the beach with me and at home.

The only reason that I say she wouldn't describe herself as a naturist, is because she enjoyed the activity for a slightly different reason.

It gave us both a sense of openness and togetherness - however I, in common I suppose with many people who would describe themselves as naturists, got and do get something out of it personally, in addition to that.

I'm not sure if that makes sense - but as I said, a different topic for a different category I think.

Now that might just make a good bumper sticker.

Is this gender specific, or how do you show someone your nuts! ? LOL

Thanks Shaybare

I agree - Would make a fantastic bumper sticker - Possibly ClothesFree could design one and make some money from it. I know I would gladly buy one.
