I think you should add instead of what is handy, what is comfortable. From everything everyone has said before that is what being nude is about. If it's hot out, I am comfortable and forget what you think if I'm nude. If it's cold I'm wearing clothes.

Yes, I usually dress for COMFORT! The exception would be specific gatherings like funerals, weddings and the like.

None of the answers apply to me, and I couldn't pick one. I have three "outfits" I wear. One is the uniform I have to wear to work. The others are blue jeans and a western shirt in cold weather and shorts and a T shirt in warm weather. The rest of the time I'm nude if possible. /infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

When it is warm enough, either at home in the summer, or on vacation in Hawaii or elsewhere, I often wear only a pareo.

The pareo (sarong) is about 20 x 40 inches and is a very light rayon material. I wrap it around my waist and knot the ends. I find that I can go many places with this very minimal covering.

When I go out for nude walks, I take the pareo as a coverup. Rather than carrying it, I fold it lengthwise several times and wear it as a headband! At a beach, I can spread it out and lie on it. Extremely versatile, is the pareo.

In addition, I wear Tevas, ones that can be worn in water as well, and a WristPocker to hold keys, money, credit card.

When I have to dress, I dress in loose fitting clothes. That is, sweats, scrubs, etc. and commando. When I have to dress-up it's dressy but I go commando. I've been a commando fan for years. I haven't opened my underwear drawer in years. I don't make it obvious of course but I can't stand the feeling of being compressed. There was one time that it didn't work fore me, when I decided to where gauze-material shorts which showed, let's call it the swing, not to my knowledge. But once I did figure it out, I made it an effort to conceal myself.Once I get home I strip at the door and don't see clothes until I have to leave again.

How do I dress? Well, let me just say that I do worry about what other people think, but not necessarily about what I'm wearing as much as what I'm not wearing. When I'm wearing clothes, I tend to cover up. Long sleeves and pant legs for me.

Well, personally, I don't think that this question really works in a multiple choice format (just like most of the other polls here, including my own). But since it was multiple choice, I answered whatever's handy, and as little as I can.

At school, I'm usually fully dressed. T-shirt, shorts/pants, underwear (maybe braless), socks and shoes. Outside of school it's another story. Usually no socks, always no underwear, always no bra. That is, unless I decide to wear just a sportsbra on top. /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

(http://www.cabanatogo.com/bwpareos.html.) They have a good selection of 19 x 48 (not 40) inch pareos at $16.95 plus shipping.

You can usually find pareos/sarongs in women's clothing stores or T-shirt shops in (warm) vacation locations, sometimes for as little as $4.

I prefer rayon over cotton because it's lighter weight. Note: rayon is also somewhat transparent, especially the lighter colors, but patterns offset the transparency.

I also use my pareo as my courtesy towel (to sit on) at nudist parks.

A nudist friend of mine doesn't like for her daughters to be scantily dressed in public. She doesn't want her girls sending out sexual invitations to textile boys who are conditioned to expect looser behavior from girls who dress like Britney Spears. Of course total nudity at home or even around the teen boys at the nudist resort is okay.

When I was a boy and on into my teens, we boys wore nothing but shorts on warm weekends and in the summer when we were playing in the neighborhood or roaming the woods. We would wear a tee shirt and shoes with the shorts if we went into town. It is a double standard, but teen girls who wore less than their peers were hassled by guys who thought that the brief attire indicated that the girls were "easy".
