Have you been to a nudist resort or park that had at least a few singles? Where did you see the most singles? Was the gender balance fairly good?
Have you ever attended any special singles events in nudist venues?
In California I believe there is a singles club that meets regularly in one or two resorts. I would love to learn more about them.
I have been active in social nudism for a couple of years now, but I haven't seen enough yet to make any comparisons.

I've only been to three nudist clubs and resorts. I won't count the one in my home city that didn't want me there because of my being unmarried. I've seen very few people in any of the three without a mate. The best place I've been to, and where I will be living, is Serendipity Park in Cleveland, GA. It's owned by a single man, and everyone is very friendly there. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

In southern california there is Glen Eden Sun Club. They have a single group that seems to be very active in the community and at the club. They have monthly meetings, potlucks, get togethers. I've only read about this in the newsletters I have received in the mail and in the various nudist publications we get.
Never been to the club or to any of these functions, we're married and just haven't had the desire to visit this club yet.

White Tail Park is singles-friendly while having a gender-ratio. Every day there are singles and singles can attain membership at a cost less than that of a couple. Last summer, they even had a singles group that met every Saturday with about 10 in attendance.

Believe me Hokie, you wouldn't want to date any of them. As in most of the nudist world, males outnumbered the women, usually having none of them. It was mainly a chance to get to know others and for those friends to hang out.

Even still Bob, its nice to meet people your own age that share your views... regardless of finding a date

Most of the singles who had dates at a nudist resort that I have met, seemed to meet them somewhere else and they went together.
I have heard of singles meeting at resorts, but it may be the exception and not the rule.
I have met single females at a singles weekend at Cypress Cove (http://www.suncove.com/) just south of Orlando in Kissimmee, Florida. The guys were in the majority, but that's not necessarily a problem for the right guy when he meets the right girl.
I haven't done much research, so I don't have a comprehensive list. I do know of one other place that occasionally hosts singles weekends: Cherokee Lodge and Resort (http://www.cherokee-lodge.com/) in Crossville, Tennessee (halfway between Nashville and Knoxville).

Laguna Del Sol in CA has a large single male population. But the resort is so large and the men are either ignored or maintain such a low profile that its not a problem. They do have a singles group made up of women in their 60's and men in their 40-70. Lupin used to maintain some kind of gender balance but was forced to give it up due to economics. And because it is a small resort its very noticeable. They do have a younger singles crowd more in the age group of 30-50.
Since nudist resorts are really a couples thing most try to have gender balance. But if they need the money they will allow some men. Unfortunately not many single women join unless they get a smoking discount (usually under the table) or they get another single guy to join with them to get a couple discount.
For this reason I prefer nude beaches.

So, Hemdale,
What's the singles scene like at the beaches you visit?

Well Trailscout the singles scene depends on the beach. On small cozy beaches you get the most interaction. Biger beaches people tend to disperse which makes conversation difficult. But I'm not into the single scene so I haven't tried to pick up women anywhere.
Keep in mind that one of the biggist reasons there are so few women at beaches is because they draw too much attention from single men. AS a result women either stop going or they give everyone a stay away stare. I really have to recommend that you find women else ware and bring them to the beach.

I hear what you are saying. As a matter of fact, I would feel a lot more comfortable going with a nudist travel club to a beach. A group of men could be a real imposing deterrent to any creeps who want to stare at or otherwise harrass our lady friends who came with us.
