Robert Tanenbaum's paintings are the very best, in my opinion. He speaks at the St. Louis Artist Guild on September 27 at 7 PM, and it is free admission. His wonderful work can be viewed at the following website;

If I'm not mistaken, I think I used to see Tanenbaum's work on the inside covers of the Beckett Baseball Card Monthly, Beckett Football Card Monthly, etc. way back in the day. At least he's still around.
