Yep, i know where haulover is, lol. You guys are too funny. Playlinda is nice but not as nice as haulover or apollo. Only the best nudist beach will do for this spoiled wench.

Just curious what is the difference between Playalinda and Apollo? I have gone to Playalinda many times and always enjoyed it. I have always come from Orlando, Titusville, or Melbourne and so Playalinda was always the closest beach. Playalinda has such a friendly crowd and the beach continues due north for about 10 miles (?) until you run into Apollo. I have tried to walk from Playalinda north along the beach to Apollo but it's a really long hike. Never made it to Apollo yet so just wondering what is so different at Apollo?

The only real difference is that Apollo and Playalinda are located in seperate counties and operated under seperate administrators. Therefore the two beaches can be subject to seperate laws and ordinances. There have been times that nudity was not allowed at Playalinda but was ok at Apollo (or maybe it was vice versa).

Other than that, they are the same beach seperated by about 10 miles of shoreline.

Apollo.... less parking, therefore less of a crowd, but more nudists per capita, good space

Playalinda.... ample parking, more famous, more tourists, good amount of nudists per capita, still good space.

Haulover.... the largest nude beach in the southeast, most accessible, many people, many tourists, but many swingers and sometimes crowded.

At Playalinda, it used to be that the parking lot nearest the nudist beach would fill up rather quickly on the weekend. Then, you would have to park at the next parking lot due south along the access road. Then when that filled up you would have to park in the next lot. On a busy weekend several lots would fill up and hence the need for people to bring and ride bicycles from where they parked to the beach. Walking from some of the parking lots farther away from the one closest to the beach was a really long hike and if you were carrying beach coolers, lounge chairs, and other assorted things for the beach, it could be quit a tiring journey to the beach. One occassion, the rangers would ticket anyone not in an 'offical' parking lot space as they would not tolerate someone parking along the access road. Is this still the case at Playalinda? Usually it changes from Summer to Summer?
