Last weekend I took a trip to Tucson. I enjoyed the four hour trip from the White Mountains driving naked under my sun roof. I got a little tense coming down the canyon into Kerny. I pulled over where another car was to let some cars pass me. The couple in the parked car waived me down before I got back on the road. The were broken down and wanted to send a wrecker. The guy came up to my window to talk to me. I grabbed a t-shirt to cover my privates, but I'm sure he could tell that I was naked. I stayed naked all the way across Tucson to the far side where I was going---being careful to stay in the right lane so no one could see down to my waistline like they could looking from the right into the left lane. I was able to take about a four hour excursion up Tanque Verde Falls on Monday where nudity is common. I hiked a while with another nudist that I met. He had talked to a guy that said that Sunday a lot of people were there. Its my favorite spot--a sign at the top of the trail makes it clear that it is a nude recreation area.

Sounds like a great time.
I think it's great that they put up a sign permitting nude hiking.
Wouldn't it be nice if there were more signs like that around the country.

Sounds cool, Ill have to get out to Tucson area and check it out.

I live just a few miles east of the White Tank Mountains and am trying to get out hiking more often, was just there this weekend and noticed how populated the waterfall trails are. Do you know if there's any out-of-the-way trails to nude hike up there, the White Tanks that is?

When I come to the "valley" i like to skinny dip in canyon lake, or hike by the salt river below Saguaro Lake before you get to Power Road. Sycamore Creek between Mesa and Payson is know as a clothing optional area.

Bare in the Desert.

When I lived in Peoria I went out to the White Tank Mountains a couple of times. I always went in the early morning on weekdays and just picked trails where there weren't any cars parked yet. The trails I took were less popular and I never saw anyone. I really enjoyed going up in the mountains and looking out over the valley, especially in the spring before it gets too hot.
Another hike I took was in the Hells Canyon Wilderness. If you go out to Lake Pleasant and take the road to Castle Hot Springs, there is a trail head a few miles after the road turns to dirt. It's not marked very well and the trail head is close to a few houses. I kept my clothes on until I got over the first hill and then had a great hike.
Good Luck with the hike.

Sounds like you had a great time. Hope to make it there before moving out of state.
