danielle-desanto: I looked at your picture, and must admit, you are very beautiful, but to ask for votes on a nudist web site is intriging. This site is devoted to naturists who like to do everyday activities in the nude, and not wish to be posted alongside an erotic web site. This is sending a wrong message to other naturists, that we as naturists, do not get involved with mens or womens magazine contests. Sure, there are contests among others at nudist camps or beaches, but those contests are not "sexually" orientated. To ask for votes, is one thing, but to gather votes from a nudist forum, is in my opinion, asking the wrong crowd.
Good luck on your contest. Hope you win, but I think you are asking the wrong people for votes.

Thank you for the compliment, but I am also a nudist, myself! The contest is only something I have gotten into because I feel anyone can be beautifully photographed in the nude without the normal sexual connotations pinned to it. The mag is nothing like a Playboy type, since it focuses more on natural candid images of the model in beautiful geographical locations, rather than portraying the cookie-cutter pin-up type. The voting is optional also...not necessary.
Just part of THIS nudist's chosen path. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Love, Danielle.

First I would like to say that I think Danielle is wrong the Mystic site is like a "Playboy" exposure mag.
Secondly, it would be nice to know that she is truely a nudist. Although, I have my doubts...

Go back and read my post again, if it happened to slip your mind the first time, honey. And don't tell Mystique that they're just like Playboy! It is NOTHING like Playboy, except that the subjects are female.
Also, you seemed to have stereotyped me. And this offends me. Just because I decide to take my nude life to a contest that may be published in a magazine, does NOT mean that I'm not a true nudist at any other time than that. Nudity is in my public and private daily life , and is part of my community. You seem to think that the modeling is the only time I appear nude. WRONG! Please think before you jump the gun. You don't even know me. And I'd prefer that you ask me before assuming. I would never have done that to you. Thank you.

Sorry,
Danielle is here for commercial reasons. She is not looking for friendship. She has posted the same spam links across several threads here in this forum. For all we know, Danielle may not even exist. "She" may be some Larry Flynt poser.
The Web site she wants you to visit is a porn site. I browsed around and found a couple of women simulating lesbian sex.
No thanks! That's not what this forum is all about. We are men, women, children and teens, we are old, fat, thin, attractive and homely (to some).
We are ordinary people living as much of our lives as possible the way God made us, nude.
We have sex like other people do, but it is with our spouses in private, not displayed on air-brushed magazine pages.

We are as diverse as any group out there, with some of us into quite outrageous things at times. Cyndiann,
In the very excerpt you took from my comments, I was pointing out that we are diverse.
I don't intend to speak for anyone other than myself, but the tenets of nudism have been pretty much codified for a generation or two now.
Danielle may be a nudist, but nudists can behave badly (and I am convinced she did).
Anytime a nudist woman exploits (sexualizes) her nudity for the benefit of lecherous textile men, she has done our movement a disservice and makes it that much harder for me to take a wife or daughter to a nude beach without catcalls, and crude solicitations.
Besides, I resent her pretensions of friendliness when she is simply using every post to lure us to a paid commercial porn site.
Sorry, I can't agree with you this time! /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Trailscout,
I didn't even see her other site but I full heartedly agree with your statements. Ther's a time and place for everything and I feel that her actions are out of place. It evokes strong feeling in me.
I don't mean to affend anyone, but I thought these messages were monitored??

We do monitor. We disabled her link (since it eventually led to an adult site).
Thank you!

Do you realize that things change with time? At one time people weren't allowed to touch each other nor drink and smoke at nudist venues. Pierced nipples and belly buttons were big no-no's too. Nudism changes over time and becomes more lenient just as everything else does.

If she were to take those sexy pictures and tell people it represented nudism that would be incorrect but quite frankly nudists cand andd do have lots of other activities in their lives that aren't nudism. (Lecherous? I guess you are one of those that thinks porn is a very bad thing. Do you realize you have the sam attitudes about it that many have about nudism? You are being a hypocrite.) Those ignorant souls at the beach haven't had a nudist explain what nudism is so it has nothing to do with sexy pictures, it has to do with us not educating the public about nudism.

I went to the website when she first posted, and it didn't take me too long to figure out that it has nothing whatsoever to do with clean, wholesome, family naturism. She's simply advertising a porn site. /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Corky,
are you referring to the Yahoo club as the adult site? It is certainly not a pay site. Most of the pictures are not nudes, those that are seem modest in their poses.
This forum is listed as off topic miscellaneous.
There are more pictures of clothed females there than unclothed.
It always worries me when a group that touts tolerance of their ways is the first to overreact to others with a complete lack of tolerance.
There is always someone waiting on edge, waiting to slap someone down that does not agree with them. That is too bad. That is not tolerance. it does not provoke dialog.
If we do not accept those with different perspectives on nudity than our own, who will be willing to accept ours?
If thost that did not care for her post ignored it, it would have just gone away.

Hey Nude Dude
The site they pulled was not a Yahoo club. It was a site that specifically said that it was for adults and other than a few freebie pages, was a "pay per view" site. Every picture was nude (unlike the site you visited) and some photos depicted sexual activity.
Perhaps you visited some other site and assumed that was the one we were referring to.
On another forum someone linked to a site that features attractive nude women, but not in sexually suggestive poses. That is not porn. It doesn't promote nudism per se, but was a Web site that depicts nude female beauty in a respectful manner. I have no problem with that.
I tried to ignore Danielle, and privately complained to the Admins, but they did not catch my messages right away and she began increasing her cross-thread, off-topic posts, deceiptfully trying to pass her posts off as friendly greetings, when they were actually thinly veiled marketing ploys to an paid adults-only erotica/porn site.
Nudism has traditionally been about families enjoying wholesome nonsexual outdoor nude recreation, accepting body differences. That's a good tradition and most of us intend to continue to promote those goals.
It is much more of a philosophy than merely someone who doesn't mind taking his clothes off in mixed company.

I am referring to the site that is advertized on the Yahoo site. When I clicked on vote for Danielle, it took me to a site that was clearly sexually oriented and said this:
"Mystique is intended for adults 18 years of age and older."
One of our policies is to not link to sexually oriented, adults only sites.
Trailscout's message above says it all. Thank you Trailscout!

What I visited was her yahoo group, which I got to from the link posted here, and I certainly would not have found it otherwise. If the link was changed then you did the right thing.
I also believe I did the right thing in inquiring as to what the deal was.

/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Thank you Administration for taking the action you did. For me it is very important that the rules on enforced. Because it took me A long hard road to get my wife to even try social nudity and I wouldn't want something stupid like that to have her change her mind now. We ejoy our new lifestyle so much.
So once again thank you Admin.
Be happy- be nude and God Bless

INA Staff

Corky,
I agree with most objections mentioned, but just wanted to let you know, that most sites on Yahoo Groups that are nudist (real nudist) have that "adult" classification. Several legitimate, moderated clubs have that classification. (naturist2, carolinanaturist, etc.) It is something that Yahoo apparently does to protect itself. Just FYI.
