First time Visit to Resort

Hi Everyone:

I am a naturist from Ohio and planning on visiting a club in Cincinnati next month, and I had a weird question. I have been reading lots of posts, and was wondering about body hair. I have quite a bit of hair except on my face, and was wondering if it will be an issue or not. From reading the posts, I dont think it will, but was just curious. Thanks for the advice in advance! Just watch yourself, be careful around any open flames! Like BBQ's and firepits. I am curious, do people with a lot of body hair find that they don't sunburn as much as other folks? (Just something I've wondered from time to time.)

Thanks so much for the advice. I am hoping I dont chicken out and go. I am looking forward to it. What is the feeling toward a single guy there? Do I just be myself and relax? Do I go up and approach people? What about a single woman? Any (more) advice would help!!

Hey Mike -

If you "chicken out" you are only robbing yourself. Go, Live and have fun!!!!

The body hair is no worries. Nudist places are known for being friendly and fun. As far as being a single male, sure introduce yourself. The regulars will wonder who this new person is anyway. Just be yourself. Besides sunscreen, the most important things to bring to a nudist club are a good attitude and outstretched hand (for shaking).

As far as single women, well, mate, don't get your hopes up. But aren't you there for YOU anyway - to experience it all. The right single lady will show up if she's supposed to.

I am surprised that Trailscout has not responded, as he calls himself a lovable teddy bear because of his body hair.
He has been going to resorts for years and respects his natural self in appearance.

I see some VERY hairy men here at Turtle Lake Resort, and no one seems to care. Hair is natural even if it is excessive.

I am much more hairy than most men. It has never been an issue. In fact, people treat me with a friendly smile and courtesy just like they do everyone else.

I am darker skinned than some folks, lighter than others. Taller than some, shorter than others. The list goes on.

I know that I am not full-blooded Homo sapiens. My best guess is that I am a hybrid between H. sapiens and H. neatherthalis or H. sapiens and H. bigfootensis. Still, the acceptance I get in nudist circles is heart-warming.

Mike, if the park lets you in as a single, nobody there should have an issue with you either.

As Brian suggested, be yourself. Meet people at your convenience and comfort. You will find that nudists tend to be much frienlier than textiles. Say "Hi" and smile a lot.

Don't go there to find romance, go there to make friends. The rest comes later. And realize that single women are few and far between at nudist venues.

Hi slapshot I am a nude hiker and home nudist when wife lets me . I am going to the same nudist resort in Cincinnati this week end ,first time ever to a resort and I have the same concerns as you only I am smooth. How well where you received? Hope it was well .Ron

I am like slap shot only I am smooth instead of hairy,I am going to the same resort slapshot went to in Cincinnati ,tomorrow morning .even though I have done a lot of nude hikes I"ve never been social nude with anyone this is my first time and have all the concerns . ,I hope I don't chicken out.It is encourageing to hear you enjoyed your fisit visit so much your going back .I am a little nervious but commited .I"ll let you know how it went .Ron

Hi Slapshot;

Dont worry about the body hair. I have seen both men & woman that didnt shave & some were all smooth. It wont be an issue.

I went to my first resort a yr ago at the age of 44 and loved it. The only regret was that I had not done so years ago.

I went to Paradise gardens in Cincinnati this week and it was my first time visit .It was awesome ,I spent a life time worring about how my body looks ,being ashamed of what God had given me shy ,modest timid,and it was all useless worry. Everyone was so friendly and natural ,As soon as I signed in and disrobed I became comfortable because of the people being so friendly and accepting.I had reserved two days but it was so wonderful I stayed and extra day ,and plan to go back in two weeks from now . all I can say is whow I am addicted .If you have been considering trying a nudist resort ,and hung up with worry about your body.Don't worry just do it you will have the most wonderful experience you have ever known. I did and its great .Ron
