How do you make yourself comfortable when sleeping or prior to sleeping?
For me I could never sleep with socks on, and I find it most comfortable when one foot is exposed from underneath the blankets, while the other is warmly tucked under the sheets, for some reason it just feels better.
How about you?

I usually have to roll back and forth a few times unless I'm just dead tired. Then I can fall asleep standing up if I have to. Let's see, well a warm bath or shower helps sometimes. A glass of water or something a little stronger on occaision. Lately I have been falling asleep with something on... the TV, tuned to CNN.

My work schedule varies so I only crawl into bed when I am tired. If its 1 am or 1 pm and I want to go to bed I do. I also know that sometimes you are not ready for bed but that you must get sleep for whatever may be coming the next day.

I sleep under the covers, tilted to my left, in the buff. For some strange reason, I always go to sleep laying on my left side, but sometimes I wake up on my right. It's not that I have a routine when I go to bed; it's just that this is what comes naturally to me.

umm, funny question. but first, to get proper sleep, i must be naked. i don't care where i am, that IS the way i sleep. usually i fall asleep within two minutes of hitting the bed. i have a SUPER high metabolism and burn rubber all day, so when i finally stop, even for a little while, i fall asleep. once, for three days in a row, it took me an hour each night to fall asleep, and i thought somthing was truly wrong with me. luckily, that passed quickly!!!

I've found that a good soak in the hot tub relaxes me and makes me sleepy. I like to do that just before going to bed--if possible. Of course, I always sleep nude.

Sleep is for wimps!
Just kidding!
I have to pass out, otherwise I am up for hours, thinking too much!

The only time I don't sleep nude is when my teen daughter has her friends here for a sleep-over. However, due to a circulation problem in my right foot, I wear socks to bed. It's amazing how much warmer your whole body feels when you keep your feet warm.

The only way I'm going to sleep comfortable is Nude. I start out lying on my left side, then right and back aqain. Turning the body off for sleep is easy, too often its getting the mind to get some rest thats difficult. Too much laying there thinking of how bad I need some sleep and such.

Definitely nude right side sleeper here. Once a person sleeps nude, I don't think you could ever sleep in PJs that get all tangled up or that allow your legs to move freely. For years I slept in tight briefs. Ugh! Nude sleep, for me, is the most comfortable and restful sleep.

Well, first off, I can't sleep comfortably with any clothes on. I always go to sleep on my back and sometimes, also with a foot sticking out of the covers. Lately, it's been cold here in Korea at night, but I still keep my window open all the way, because otherwise it will get stuffy, so I keep the foot covered. Then I've been sleeping with the television left on. My wife hates it when I leave tv on at home though.

I started sleeping nude when I was 13 and it's been that way ever since.

I have a heated water bed, so the mattress is never cold.

A wool doona over the sheet is enough for winter. In summer, usually just a sheet.

I'm very physically active and have never had a problem getting to sleep. I also know a visualisation and relaxation technique which anyone can use to get comfortable and get to sleep, either when first in bed, or if you wake up in the night.

I usually sleep through various noises and I'm OK if I'm on holiday and not in a water bed.

I always take my own pillow with me when I travel, even to go abroad, partially for comfort, but also particularly for hygiene.
