Guess what? I thought of another "stupid" question. /infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I keep reading comments that indicate sexual activity is completely discouraged at resorts. Is that mainly in reference to day trips?

Honestly, I can't imagine that my husband and I would have to refrain from sexual activity in the privacy of our own camping area just because people are there for *nude* recreation. And I'm not talking about day-tripping, I'm talking about spending a week there, or even just overnighting.

So, for those of you who've had the privelege to go to such resorts, what's the scoop?

Angel: I don't think refraining from sexual activity at a nudist resort is a requirement. If the activity is taking place out in the open, then that is where the line is drawn. Simple hugging, is to me, not a problem, but actually having intercourse out in the open, where others could view it, would be considered offensive, and should not be tolerated. But if the aforementioned activity is being done behind closed doors and out of sight, then who would know what is going on? That would be considered relatively safe.

There are some resorts that cater to the activities listed, but those are well advertised, such as Hedonism (not sure of the name of the resort), but sexual activity is performed out in the open. This type of behavior, at this particular resort, is tolerated, and it is well documented. But such activity at your regular family-type nudist resorts, is strictly prohibited, especially when the activity is out in the open, for all to witness. /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I agree with nudeM. There's nothing wrong with sex, especially for a married couple. The only problem arises when others are forced (voluntarily or involuntarily) to witness it. Use the tent or motor home. Just because a couple rents a space of land does not make it their own private property. Only if there is no way that anyone could witness the act, then (and only then) is outdoors a great option...and it's a fun option /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Most "nudist" resorts have a policy of no sex in view of other people. so use a tent or camper this also means no noise. 3 reasons, most resorts do have some children running around and the parents don't want their kids to see people having sex. Some nudists are offended by flirting and sensual touch. And lastly its a hold over from the days when nudists had to separate themselves from sex in order to survive.

Some resorts are more strict then others. For example Lupin in Los Gatos CA is more liberal then Laguna Del Sol in Sacramento CA where I know of a person who was suspended for 6 months for holding a hug to long in the pool. Some resorts will expel a member if they are found out to be swingers. While other resorts won't care unless the managers get complaints.

If a resort allows sex out in the open its not a nudist resort. Its a resort that allows some nudity. So bottom line is don't do anything at a nudist resort that you wouldn't do at a state campground and you should be ok.

Like everyone else stated, it's not HAVING sex but having it out in the open. No matter what the situation, nude or clothed, open sex is just blatant rude!
I usd to go to a beach in SW MI and you would be walking along and walk across people having sex ON TOP a a hill, for all to see. It wasn't in a private area but down-right on a hill.
Or another time, I was at the same beach suning nude and I seen a guy J/O while viewing me thru binoculars. So, I flipped him the best bird I could find. I've never seen someone loose IT so fast.
Sex between two people, IN PRIVATE, can be a wonderful thing but if I wanted to see open sex, I would find a forum to do so but certainly not at a nudist anything.

Thanks, folks, I think you've summed it up pretty well. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif No PDA's, but what happens in the privacy of your own camping area (tent, RV, cabin, whatever) remains your own business.

I didn't *think* y'all were saying "No Sex Allowed While On The Property", but I wondered, so asked. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

In principle, I like to encouage couples to have sex It is a God-given way to express love for one another, and like a Sacrament of the Church, it has the additional value of enabling that love to grow through use. Though it can be used improperly [date-rape for instance]it is one of God's greatest gifts to men and women. But I don't think I would want to have intercourse with my beloved wife in public. And I'm sure she wouldn't either.

Being new to this, I appreciate all the good feedback and experiences. Some of the best love making was in our RV while spending a wknd at a nude resort. It was great because we were away from the kids/stress/work, totally relaxed and comfortable, and just enjoyed how cool it felt to be nude. The security of knowing the clubs don't allow swingers is another reason we will continue to enjoy the club we have found. Stay naked and have fun.
