You forgot Robert Altman and Steve Irwin, not to mention a bunch of other famous people who died this year. Maybe instead of counting by threes we should count by fives or by seventeens. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/confused.gif http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/cool4.gif

Gerald Ford died 26 December 2006

James Brown died 25 December 2006

Peter Boyle died 12 December 2006

Robert Altman died 20 November 2006

Steve Irwin died 4 September 2006

I believe nekkedtruth is referring to celebrities that past away in December 2006

Over here we recently had a mega famous DJ, Alan 'Fluff' Freeman die, then a comedian from years past (I remember him from when I was a lad.) Charlie Drake, whose catch phrase was "Hello my darlin'" and when I heard about Gerald Ford I saw that as being the number three.

A sad loss to the world.

This again makes me wonder how and when my death will "come in threes", that is, - me, myself and I, but I suppose that I will have a few more good years, even though, on my birthday in a few weeks I will be age 81. In the meantime I will have a heck of a good time - such as this week I will go to three senior dances with my younger girlfriend age 76.

Gerald Ford was best of buddies with Jimmy Carter, so condolences to Jimmy Carter also.

I think the reason the celeb deaths seem to come in threes is that the three will usually occur in a two or three day period of time.

I don't know how important this is to some people, but Mike Evens recently died of cancer. He played Lionel on The Jeffersons and was a co-creator of Good Times.
