I was never a big fan of body hair, I just wish it were easier to get rid of!

I am shaving my pubic hair. I feel much more comfortable like that.I would like to know if there is a possibility for a permanent removal of pubic hair in order to avoid shaving them every two or three days

dragonfly has looked into permanent removal. we have found a local place that does it, but the issue is $$$ it is very expensive .they do offer payment plans though:)

Nope, not me. But you can decide it yourself as long as you are happy with it. ( :
Well, I have seen the topic talked over and over. Is this important? Are there any statistics showing the trend of it by age, sex here? It must be an interesting vote.

shave everthing I have got, hair is way to itchie if you shave every time you take a shower it only takes a minute
I'm only 1 year into being completely smooth, but I like it now. At first it was just an experiment, to see what it was like. But I enjoyed it, so I've continued with it.
I only have to shave my pubic hairs, because I don't grow any chest hair for some reason. Plus I have blond hair, so what hair there is, is really light. I used to be disappointed that I was so hairless as a male, but now the hairless trend has caught up with me.

I think I would like to be, but I'm too lazy to shave all the time. I had a (abdomin) surgery in May and I wasn't real sure of the location, so I just shaved from nipple to groin. I like the looks and feel of being shaved, but to shave from the neck down is just too much. Shaving just the groin area would look too much like crop circles.

I am a shaver. I personally think it is more attractive.

i do not know how to answer this one. In order to be a smoothie I would have to shave a lot more regularly. i shave my pubic hair often but probably not often enough to be considered a smoothie. As of right this second I can say I am right now a near true smoothie having for the first time in a while shaved all hair below the neck except for my back which I can't reach and is really not hairy anyway. I would love to stay this way but it would be more bother then it is worth. I shaved my pubic hair for the first time in 2004 after reading about shaving on this ste and much prefer it that way but really don't like to take the time to do it regularly enough.

Yes!! After trying creams, shaving, etc., I went from Sasquatch to Smoothie using an epilator. Many types are available from http://www.emjoi.com and Amazon. I'm completely smooth as a cue ball, there's very little temporary irritation, it's a one-time investment, and I only have to touch-up about once a week. I'd recommend it! :D

For the longest time I wasn't. A few years ago I tried it for a few months but let it all grow back. This summer I shaved off the genital area and have liked it more and more as time goes by. Except for my head I'm not very hairy at all. Even have trouble growing a beard. Oh well. I think I'll keep it this way.

I am not a smoothie. I have shaved my pubic area from time to time when the hairs would get too long but I hated the itchy feeling when the pubic hair would grow back. Now I just trim it if it gets too long.

I have been keeping the my chest and genital area smooth for the past few months. I really like it but I may let it grow back when the weather turns cooler.

No, don't like the after effects, bumps and such... I have sensitive skin. But, I did get trimmed last night. We shall see how that works.

No! I've shaved bare a couple times, its not bad, I just hate the itching that accompanies the re-growth in the day or two following...Ugh. I dont care to have to do it every day to avoid that either lol.
Personally I like the hair down there, even more so when "tamed". I do tend to trim up a bit, but not shave bare.

Most definately a smoothie... I have a various times shaved my whole body (head not counting). But now I guess I am what would be called a "genital smoothie" I do keep the rest of the hair on my body trimmed short with a set of clippers, about 1/2" setting. I love the look and feel of hairlessness on my genitals and it helps when I am wearing my 'Special" jewelry down there ;) and by the way...my girl friends love it too...they are all 'completely smooth'...;)

I go through phases... sometimes things down there just get to be too big of a mess... you know something needs to change when hair in certain locations can get caught in a zipper... that's usually my cue to return to being a smoothie again for a while.

Yup, been a smoothie for more than 15 years now. I tried it 30 years ago and wished I had maintained it all these years. Plan to remain a smoothie the remainder of my life.

No - I love my pubic hair - it's part of my masculinity although it does need a trim from time to time. It's feels so great when you get naked outdoors and the breeze rustles through all of your hair - a feeling of pure freedom.

I'm 55, also very smooth naturally but with thick bush of pubic hair which I very much like. I too think it looks very masculine.

yes of course. shave since i was 20.
No I'm not but !!!!!!!
When I was 15 and we had just started school summer holidays I shaved my hair above and around my XXXXX. Thinking It had plentey of thim to grow balck before I returned to school !
I must admit I was suprised when I walked in the bathroom for my bath and saw in the mirror my white naked body. I did wonder if I had made the correct decision as I now looked as I did when I was 12 with no hair above by penis.
It was good being a teenager.

Yep! Been smooth for more than 20 years now. But I' naturally smooth anyway. My chest hair wasn't noticeable till my mid-thirties, and my butt did'nt get fuzzy till my 50s. Now all I keep is my goatee, and my eyebrows.

I am a smoothie and enjoy it. I always had a hairy chest and always felt out of place when I used to go to the beach or pools. I now shave from the top of my legs to my neck in the shower. It takes seconds and I am now more at ease even when at non nudist places.

I'm a smoothie, but since it has become a hassle I have let it grow back.I'll probably go back to shaving within the next few weeks as soon as I get to buy a new razor sharper.

Yes I am & have been for the last 20 years. I really love being smooth. I have never thought of shaving (especially those parts) as being a hassle. To the contrary , I enjoy it! PS-- My wife is a smoothie of 11 years & she loves being smooth also.

The Wife and I both are and have been for a long time (in my case since 1980).
If you are into significant exercise it reduces the amount of perspiration rash (especially "*****ly Heat" rash) in the rather more sensitive areas; This is quiite a problem if the climate is warm and humid, and we both prefer to run naked (apart from shoes!)
Seems a lot of Aussie Naturists also prefer the "non-hairy" appearance too, and this applies to all ages and both genders fairly equally (used to be mainly female but the men are fast catching up!)
Finally, it boils down to a matter of personal preference I suppose, although we've found completely hairless bodies seem to dry faster after a swim!:D
