That's just good acting....
It was 60 degrees and windy, so we are grinning with our jaws clenched. But lots of fun to hang out with that bunch and meet the ClothesFree crew, they are a blast.

Wonder why almost everyone is a smoothie? Is it really that prevalent or was it just that group?

As far as the "smoothie" thing goes.....you know what? I didn't really take notice when I was there and it didn't really stand out to me until you pointed it out just now.
It' s just preference, a trend, whatever.... I'd say roughly 50% of nudists shave these days....maybe a little more prevelant among younger nudists. I don't really think it's a big deal either way. Some of us shave our faces, some grow beards or wear goatees....that difference is not worth any prolonged discussion either.

Yes, todays's is a really nice picture. I saved it off to my 'puter to do it as a jigsaw sometime.

Doc, how did you and your wife get in on meeting the CF crew? Did you two just run into them at the resort?

Chrissy and Brian are members of De Anza Springs. They are also the creators of SingleNudist.com and Naturally California and very involved with AANR and raising public awareness for nudism. I've admired their work for quite sometime and breifly met them last year at Olive Dell.
Since then I've been focusing some effort onto raising a wholesome nudist presence on MySpace in the form of a profile and discussion group. Chrissy found the group and we have exchanged messages on various topics from Blacks Beach to the "18-35" void. We had intended at some point to go down to Blacks with Brian and Chrissy, but it's recently too cold. As it turns out, however, CFI was going to be at De Anza, so Chrissy and Brian sent an invite and I invited two more nudist friends along and wallah....a crowd.
We had a great time at De Anza....they have a nice indoor pool and a hot tub, so you can splash around in the dead of winter without a care if you so wished.
We hope to see Brian, Chrissy and the CFI crew again soon for more fun times.

I'd likely agree with that estimate (50%). It was about that at both places we've visited. Less so with the men. I wonder if the trend is here to stay or if it will swing back to the 50s and 60s in a few years?

An article in the New York Times in September 2005 said that people in positions to know say that 50 percent of women and 10 percent of men maintain little or no pubic hair.
Doc, that that is you and your wife in today's picture (February 2, 2007) was my first guess. I remember her posting (which I enjoyed) as Pamterps.
Congrats on your being in today's picture.
