i just want to say that i think this is a step long over due.such a policy is not really needed as far as the law goes, but this clears up the issue for many young women,as well as all tne uptight people. it's time for the others to make changes in policy now.i guess you could call this a baby step.

Does this have anything to do with the guy arrested for wearing a speedo and t-shirt in Burger King?

If you start a new thread, at least let people know what you're talking about. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Naw, the guy thing was at a Taco Bell in Arkansas. The Burger King policy change was about breast-feeding.

Yeah, make the titles more specific, because many on here just don't read the "Nudes in the News (TM)" feature on the home-page. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I suspected this may be about breast feeding. While I was going to school at Purdue in the late 80's, I was waiting on tables at the Red Lobster there. I had a few occasions where a customer would be nursing her child while I was taking her order. My manager directed me not to say or do anything differently in these cases, and that it was their legal right to feed their children.

It seems strange to me that some 15-16 years later, some restaurants are just now comming around.

I have been to many types of churches where I would see women breast feeding and no one seemed to notice. Women should be able to feed their infants whenever the babe is hungry no matter where they are.

My wife told me about breastfeeding her two children in church. Anywhere from five to seven women would sit in the back of the church so they could , should the need arise. During quiet spells of the service a "Slurp, slurp...." could be heard. No one was offended, but the nursing mothers got the giggles.
