In a recent post, I talked about a possible nudist "urban legend", which lead to to think about all the unproved, uncorroborated facts that have heard in nudist chatrooms and forums. I figured I'd post some of them for fun.

- In or around Las Vegas, NV, there is a nudist-friendly appartment complex where nudity is allowed anywhere within the gates. This complex does not advertise, and tenants are found by word of mouth within the NV nudist community.

- Somewhere in NC, there is a small, isolated beach where most people go nude. This beach is not listed anywhere, because the locals want to keep it to themselves.

- In a rural, isolated area in Florida, the neighborhood kids often play in the street - nude. This apparently all started when one child unsuspectedly ran outside nude and was joined by the next door neighbor's son; and it basically caught on. The neighborhood parents keep it a secret because of potential pervs and governmental intervention.

- In the celebrity arena, when Demi and Bruce where still together, family nudity was the norm around their house. If guests dropped by, they would be entertained in a guest "dressed" room; and would be required to disrobe if they wanted to visit the rest of the household.

- Also in the celebrity arena, Alanis never closes any doors in her home. So a visitor end up conversating with Alanis while she's using the bathroom or changing.

- Diane Webber (below) was supposedly such a charismatic and persuasive proponent of nudism that all of her friends and relatives became nudist themselves...except maybe granny.

Does anyone one else know of any nudist myths or legends?

I don't know about the rest but I know Alanis Morissette has visited nudist camp and advocates social nudity.

I have heard that John Stamos likes to have nude gatherings with friends at home.

I suspect that this one is not just an urban legend. The same could be said for a huge number of communities.

It would be interesting to find any real truth to these.

*I saw on "A Current Affair" a segment about nudism. They interviewed some nudists at the Las Vegas apartment complex. They then used a helicopter to see if anyone could see in from outside - their finding was no.

*I did read an interview with Demi Moore while she was married to Bruce Willis. She said that in the evenings her and her daughters would sit around the living room floor nude to read stories and to talk.

*It's well known that John Stamos and his then wife Rebecca Romijn(?) had parties where they and all their guests went skinny dipping and then remained nude the rest of the time.
