If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Greece, I want to see Hawaii but 2 weeks in Greece. And another 2 weeks in Hawaii as well. But if I had a ton of money I would be able to take you both and then we could have the best weekend, and you could see Hawaii for the first time as myself.

I think a two week all-nude cruise would be great. Anywhere its warm and comfortable, the carribean, likely. But I'd want my wife to be along and be comfortable nude and join in on all the activities aboard and ashore.

NakedNudists....if you ever get the chance, visit Maui. "Little Beach" on Maui is truely the best nude beach the US has to offer. And it's not even the highlight of the island!

To nakednudists.. If you pick Hawaii and want to get naked, go to Maui, nowhere else.
We went to Kauai. Beautiful but not nudist friendly. Ohau is a tourist trap. We plan to visit the big island in Feb. We'll see.

Ile du Levant, France - Official Nude Island

Ile du Levant, where nudism was first practised in France, can be reached by ferry from Le Lavandou. It seems that the whole island is officially nudist except for the port of Heliopolis and the military areas which are off limits anyway. The nude beach is called Les Grottes Plage and is 10 minutes walk along the quayside. The ferry journey takes about 35 minutes and in 2004 cost 21 euros for a return journey.

The Isle du Levante was where the French movement "naturisme" took hold in the 1930's. This was not naturism as we know it today, but rather a celebration of Nature, and involved camping without electricity and girls dancing in flowing robes, artists and Isadora Duncan types, all eventually daring to sunbathe wearing only "Le minimum" - which they are still inclined to wear today.

One of the places visited was Ile du Levant. A small island off the coast between Toulon and St. Tropez. It's a little off the beaten track, as you have to take a train to Toulon, then a bus to Le Lavendou and finally a boat across to the island. Once you're there, the amenities are basic, but the people are very friendly. They had their unwritten rules that total nudity wasn't preferred in the port area, on the main road, or in the village square, mainly not to offend the tourist who came to the island for it's beauty and not the naturism experience. However, this wasn't enforced, it just seemed to be one of those things you didn't do. Besides these areas, everywhere else on the island was clothing optional.

The Ile du Levant. That is an island in the Mediterranean just off the French Coast dedicated to Naturism, with the exception of the port area. It is not only legal to be nude but is protected by law. No photography without permission. You take the ferry from Hyeres to reach the island. It is a beautiful ride out. Once you reach the port and walk up the hill a little, you are in the domain of the nudists. You put your textiles in your backpack and put on your sun screen unless your are very tan. There are a number of hotels, condos and private homes as well as campsites on the island, but these are set among trees and bushes. You never feel more than a step away from nature. If you hike the well marked trails; the views are breathtaking. Along the way, say "Bon jour" to families, couples, singles, old and young. You can skinny dip in the blue Mediterranean and lay out on the rocks in the sun with the others to dry, then have lunch on a veranda overlooking the sea.

I just returned from the island after a stay of 2 weeks. Jason said it all already so I'll add just a few things. Be sure to take enough cash with you; there are no banks on the island and contrary to what the guides say, the post office can no longer be of service in that respect. The nearest bank is in Le Lavandou, a ten minutes walk from the ferry port. About activities: snorkeling and scuba diving are breath taking.

Where can you get naked in Maui. My wife and I are going for the first time in November and would like to find a place where we can get naked without worrying about being thrown in the clink

I've been to Australia I love that country. I went to a couple of nude beaches while there and I just love the people and the whole country.

I think however since this is a dream vacation I would go for a nude cruise. Not on one of the big cruise ships. I go on a Windjammer Bare Foot cruise in the Carribean. Of course it would be a nudist only cruise. I would make it so we would stop off at some of the more famous nude beaches and even a resort or two along the way. I would make it at least a month long.

Second to this vacation would be a week or two at Cap D'age (SP?)

Little Beach or Little Makena as the locals call it is the offical unoffical nude beach on Maui. When you start to look for Little Beach go to Big Beach and park. (Do not leave anything in you car.) Go out onto to Big Beach and turn right, go up and over the lava flow to your right and then back down to Little Beach. I absolutly loved Little Beach and met some really great people there. The couples tend to set or stay in the middle of the beach area the area to the right if you are facing the water is more gay and the area to the left seems to be more children and families.
Enjoy your trip I have done it a few times But from North Carolina those 12 -13 hour plane rides are killers.

Difficult. I love London. I like to visit the family in Ireland. I like to visit the food in Italy. I like the nudist acceptance of Croatia. I like to visit friends in Germany. One place I haven't been and want to visit is Australia and it's beaches! On the otherhand I live in Southern California which is the best place of all in the world.
