I have had a desire to conduct a local nudist youth camp, but I have no idea how to really go around it. There are several campgrounds that can be rented for "private camps" where you can provide your own food, so no need for other persons to be there who may be offended by nudity, and there are also a nudist resort closeby that could be "rented" for a camp, I'm sure. Any thoughts? I would like for the camp to be Christian in nature--with worship services and discussion groups, but would settle for a good, clean nudist youth camp for all young nudists in our area.

If you are a member of an AANR club, I would suggest you begin by volunteering to help with existing programs of your club, your AANR region, and AANR. Expect to be screened and supervised, for the protection of the youth. If it works out, you can expect increasing opportunities to serve.
As for starting a new camp, there are all the challenges of any youth camp, plus some challenges peculiar to the nudism aspect.
Thanks for posting.

TXK NUDE,
The camps you have in mind WOULD be on the Texas side, wouldn't they? I'm guessing you're aware of the draconian anti-nudity law in Arkansas... I don't know if it's enforced these days, but you need to be fully aware of the risk.
Here's hoping you succeed with your youth camp idea! /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yes, the camp would be in Texas. I didn't think of this before, but I know a couple (nudist--obviously) that own several acres here in Texas near the border. It's undeveloped, but is perfect for tent camping! It would be a start, yes?

That's a great idea, TXK!
My gut-feel is that to have sufficient numbers of attendees, you would need to have a camp for all nudist kids regardless of faith, but there's no reason why you couldn't have optional vespers by the fire of an evening or maybe optional informal worship on Sunday, something upbeat and suited for that age group.
I only wish that my parents could have sent me somewhere like that.
