Not really, if you search (not that i entirely trust the search here) for circumcision you get only three posts in three topics. Not sure where you got it from?

What about "single men"? Shaving is another one. See below:

By using the first search window & entering the following single words the results are:

NGary, what do you mean (exactly) by "first search window". There are (to my best knowledge) only TWO searches:

1) "keyword search" (which is what you get when pressing search in the blue bar just above the top of the first post (which is what I used, the only thing is I forgot to untick "current forum only")

2) advanced search which you can enter eaither by selecting search on the top of this page (where it just says "search", or from the link that you get when clicking on search as above (from blue area)).

I haven't managed to produce 10,000s of hits, so please help us here...

you can search by topic, time, date, words and relevance, and many variables.

Type any of those words or subjects you mentioned in the first search window and hit submit search. you will get all posts that mention those names.

Sorry NG, I did not realise that you wrote two numbers in that post (# of pages, why???, who would care about how many pages the search results are spread) and # of posts. So when you typed 34 680 I thought it was 34,680 instead of 680.

As I said, I forgot to select all forums so my numbers came out somewhat less. Otherwise the same yeh. Cheers,

I'm not about to count all the posts per page. It averages 20 posts per page so the results are approximately + - 20 Posts.

When I did "tatoo" just now, it gave only 2 pages. Looks like you'd have to search all the misspelled variations to get accurate results.

yup info always lacking... just seemed like circumcision would be something unimportant to a nudist. some do it due to religious convictions, others do it for health (now thts a controversial topic) reasons...

Well that is the point. Apparently there are no health reasons to circumcise.

I read in the paper recently that there was a survey conducted , which found that uncircumcised men had a higher risk of becoming HIV+ then those circumcised.

Somehow these surveys sound like the daily milk survey controversies, where everyday someone comes out with a new survey indicating that milk for that day would be either healthy or unhealthy. Its ridiculous...
