Hello everyone,
Despite it still being cold and wet here in London I thought I would try and bring summer forward by asking what beaches people in Engalnd head for when the sun does eventually come put.
Having grown up in Sussex, Brighton is my usual naturist destination in the UK with Formentera, Greece, Portugal and Croatia all places I've visited abroad.
So, what are other people's choices - Brighton ? Studland ? Norfolk ?

How about trying Eastney Beach here in Portsmouth. Its shingle, but quite large and busy but rarely full. To find it head for Southsea sea front, then head for the Southsea Caravan Park. There is a large free car park just beyond that, which is a 5 minute walk to the beach, along the edge of the campsite. Just head for the former MoD buildings - you can't miss the path. Have fun!

Here at least seems to be a few UK nudists. I have been looking for a group of like minded people in the London area who host a naturist group. I've tried a few places, but not having a car it's difficult as they are in remote parts of Kent. I've given up on Rios in Kentish Town as the atmosphere and staff is becoming more and more unfriendly. If there isn't any existing groups, wouldn't it be a good idea to start one?

There was a new user who posted a message using the scam email information about sending money to a bank overseas. I deleted both of "her" posts, as they were solicitations for the scam.

Frasethorpe Sands, just south of Bridlington, East Yorkshire.
At Car Park walk south for about half a mile.

Studland Beach in Dorset is an excellent nude beach. First discovered it last Summer. And I look forward to visiting there again this year. Unfortunately the weather isn't quite warm enough yet though. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/sad3.gif
Brighton - AVOID. Disgusting advert for a naturist beach.

I agree about the atmosphere at Rio's. It's not perfect. Having recently moved to the London area, I have started going to Rio's again after a 2 year break as it's just a short tube ride away. I usually go on a Monday or Wednesday night when it's "naturist night". However, it's not exactly the best naturist venue. The clientelle seems to be a mixture of naturists, people who enjoy saunas/steam rooms but don't want to be nude, swingers and exhibitionists(thanks to the inclusion of rest/play rooms upstairs - WHY do health spas in this country have to have these rooms in their venues?) and men who go just to look at naked women/men. And there is some unfriendly people in that place. I disagree about the staff being unfriendly though, I myself have found none of the staff to be unfriendly during my visits there. Can you give any examples of unfriendliness from the staff members?
I too am probably gonna pack in(again) going there I think, and use the money to goto Bristol Gardens in Brighton once or twice a month instead - still not the perfect naturist venue but better than Rio's, or just save the money for something else.
