I shave my hair around my penis because my wife and me like how it looks. But there is also a practical reason: here where we live (Mexico) it can get really warms and it’s more hygienic and cooler…

Nevertheless, next month we’ll go for the first time to a nudist resort and I wonder what I should do. Get my hear grow again or continue shaving it. Personally I would like to continue shaving it, but I don’t want to offend other nudists. Can some one tell me if you see other males who shave? Gracias. /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Most places my wife and I go to, we see both men and women who shave their pubic hair. I would go ahead and continue your shaving if that's what you like. Your shaved area will not offend anyone or be out of place.

We had one highly opinionated clod in these forums who called anyone who shaved a pervert. Fortunately, I haven't seen any postings by him lately and hope I never do.

I used to shave everything but my head, face, arms and legs until I got tired of doing it. I like the look and feel of a hairless body. I never had a problem around other nudists. No one criticized me for it. Unfortunately, there are always those narrow-minded, bigoted ignoramuses who like to try to force their opinions on others. If you come across anyone like that, just tell them that their asinine opinion means nothing to you.

The human body is beautiful. After all, God created it and said it was good. I think a shaved body is even more beautiful without all that unsightly hair. Of course, that is just an opinion. Like a lot of other things in life.. you sometimes think you're the only one that thinks a certain way, likes certain things, etc...

When I was young, I didn't think others like to be outside naked.. I'm not alone obviously. I like to shave to, and I found I'm definitley not alone.

I am often not only amazed at how many people are unaware of how many other people there are who are into nudism, but also that many new nudists think they won't be accepted because they shave their bodies, have tattoos, or any one of a number of other reasons that keep them from going.

I thought I would try something different and go to the oldest post (well 2nd oldest) in this topic and bring it back to the top. Wow, last replied to on 25 Jun 2002. Where were you on that day? I was in Las Vegas somewhere, probably at work. As for the subject in this post, I don't shave. I've tried it a couple of times, but that razor scares the hell out of me. I actually use a different method, Nair. You just have to be careful and keep an eye on the clock. Do not go over the recommended time! Trial and error, based on the recommended time, will give you a time that works best for your situation. The "error" part of it is not without pain though. I know the bottle says not to use it in certain areas, but who here has never deviated from any instructions? Has anybody else tried this method?

When I first started out I was just going to trim but things went too far and I ended up shaving it all ,for me it turned out tobe the best thing looks good acording to the wife and not that matters but it makes what I got look bigger.

I shave and it is not a problem. I am completely smooth and that is the way I am going to stay. Don't worry to much about it as you will most likely not be the only one there that is shaved. More and more are going that way these days it seems, so just stay nude and go as you are. By the way, what resort are you going to go to?

I have been shaving for a few years. At first just balls and shaft, then chest and groin. Wife didnt care for that so since I have been doing the mini-shave that I started with. I like it bein smoothe and so does she. As far as other nudists it doesnt appear to be anything unusual among other male nudists. I do like it myself

I don't shave my hair. In fact, Asian will not shave hair (both for man and woman) because Asian thinks that it is unfortune meeting a person having no hair around that area. Moreover from my point of view, I consider that area is more beautiful and attractive when with hair and sicky whilst bare.

I've been shaved for 30+ years, my wife for over 20 years. Back then it was very rare to see another person shaven at our club. In fact I think I was the first. Now its the people with a full bush who are in the minority.
Both my wife and I feel 'totally' nude with no pubic hair. I first shaved when I was in the Middle East. I had read somewhere that pubic hair trapped sweat in hot climates where you sweat a lot and this retention could cause some complaints and irratation. Off it came and it has stayed off ever since. My wife was surprised on my first leave to see me with no pubic hair but liked the look however it took her a few more years before she joined me.

I have been smooth for almost ten years. Can't imagine it any other way. some times I think i'm going to let it all grow back, but I can't stand it for long. Just so much more comfortable smooth. And, it seems like every time I let it grow back out, there is a little more grey hair involved :(

My partner and I have been shaving our pubic hair for over 20 years and we much prefer it that way, as for others we make no judgement, naturism is freedom and freedom of choice. However shaving all or some parts of the body has been a growing trend over many years particularly in Europe where one would see something in the region of 70% shaved or trimmed, few full bush anymore. We naturally prefer the shaven look and are unaware of any disapproval of this look at sites and beaches we visit, after all it is natural. Stay bare!

Interesting trend. About a year and a half ago my wife decided to try cutting back the pubic hair on her and I decided to try it (I read an article about this catching on and at first thought it was kinda strange but oh well). I let it grow back once but now I feel as strange having hair in that area as if I had facial hair (don't like facial hair). At first I got cuts but now the skin is used to shaving and it rarely happens. So in my case I think pubic hair is permanently a thing of the past.

When we first got married (over 27 years ago), I shaved my wife's pubic hair. She HATED it! We compromised over the years with various trims, shapes, and lengths. I would trim my pubes occasionally. Then about 12 years ago, I had trimmed her down to a "why bother" patch, so we just got rid of it, and I shaved as well. We've both been smooth since then. Now we use an Epilator to remove the hair. I use it on my stomach and she does my back, which isn't all that hairy to begin with. I still shave my pubes in the shower every morning. We love the way it looks and feels.

Being a very hairy person, I only shave the lower section ( Groin area) balls , shaft and above.
I love the feeling of being shaved and wish I could be a complete smoothie.
I shave Daily most of the time but during summer months I have to shave twice a day to keep it smooth.

I don't shave all the way down, but I do trim. I like the look of some hair, just not big and bushy. Plus, there is no 'natural' spot to stop if I were to go bare. I'd have to shave my belly, upper legs, and on and on. I do think that if I could take a magic pill and loose all my hair, I would. I keep a military type haircut. I just don't like much hair....and it seems I'm getting more hair as I get older!

Summer is on its way here in Australia, so I'll be trimming my pubic hair and shaving around my scrotum. My pubic hair tends to get a bit long over winter and I like the neat look rather than the shaved and smooth look. Since most of the rest of me is pretty hairy I think it would be a bit odd to be fully shaved around the pubic area.
