Hello fellow nudists,

I am sending a post just wondering your opinion on this beach. I might be going with a friend to this beach in a about 2 weeks and it will be my first nudist experience. TNA states its a premier clothing-optional beach in the midwest. I am kind of excited to go. Just curious.

Thanks,
Cosine

I've been there for a weekend once about 2 years ago.
It's a nice little beach usually pretty full of Locals. Sort of a small town atmosphere, but well behaved visitors are welcomed warmly.
The river was low when I was there so there was a lot of area to explore and get away from the "main beach" area.
The river is usually pretty busy with canoers floating by but it's not a problem. They are aware of the nude beach and steer clear if they are not interested in it.
I met some great people, young and old. Some were devoted nudists and others were first timers.
The walk to the beach , down an old dirt road , seems like it takes forever the first time. But it's not all that bad. Maybe a mile.
Just keep walking on that road untill you come to the area where they have "porta poddys" and bike racks and your there.

I was there, I am guessing 15 or so years ago. Was only there that one time as it is quite a trip from my location. At that time you were able to drive down the road Nude in the North mentioned. I guess they have closed it to vehicle traffic. The beach was very nice with only a few visitors that day (weekday). There was a guy floating around in a canoe keeping an eye on everything at the beach. I assumed he was a regular policing the beach. Based upon my one visit, I recommend it to all.

Yes. They have closed it except for Handicapped Vehicles, and park employees.
