I had a dream last night that a woman asked my if I've ever heard of the movie "Educating Julie", and I said "Yeah, I have". And then she asked me if I was a nudist, and right as I was about to tell her that I was............................................... ........................ the dog started barking and woke me up. I never got a chance to tell her! I was mad. Maybe this is a sign that I should tell someone. LOL!

Are you trying to say you have never told anyone you are a nudist out of curiosity? If so, I have never told anyone either. So don't feel bad! But regarding your dream, I would have been mad too! Darn that dumb dog! Just kidding!

That would be a good story to post, except you don't have a dog! Ha!

AANR periodically runs editorials in The Bulletin regarding the need for nudists to act as ambassadors for nudism. By telling others that you are a nudist, you provide them a human face to attach to the abstract concept of nudism.
When I tell people that I am a nudist, the usual reaction is one of curiosity. I have never had a negative reaction. Some of my friends have actually talked to me about possibly going to nudist parks. I don't believe that any have actually followed through with this; however, I am not certain they would tell me if they did.
Even if I don't succeed in converting anyone to nudism, at least perhaps I will have softened their views toward nudism and perhaps they will be more likely to support the creation of nude beaches.
I know how frustrating that can be. This morning I met a good looking young lady who was separated from her husband and was very interested in me. She was coming on to me and getting me interested when I woke up! How disappointing to return to reality! Reality sucks! http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It sounds like you need to tell someone about you being a nudist. I'll tend to have dreams until I actually do the activity in my dream and once I do I don't have the same dream. I used to dream about surfing some of the breaks on the North Shore of Oahu and finally I actually surfed those breaks and haven't had the dream since. Soooo, maybe you need to tell someone in your daily life about your nudism.

Since your avatir has two of you, I would assume that someont knows! Why do you hide the fact?

WE tend to drop subtle hints into our conversation, and if they are a nudist, they pick up on them.
In the past few months, we have found many couples in our area that have clothing optional homes. I would have never guessed it about some of the couples.
I have only had one negative response, which was that it was nothing that they would ever try, but it did not change the way they think of me. Just do not invite them to a clothing optional venue or bring their kids. I can respect that.
Good Luck to you. I may seem scary to take that first big step, but once you have done it...you will look back and realize it was a baby step.

I've read through many of these threads about dreams and being naked in dreams and never responded because I had never had one, or don't ever remember having one until the other night.
I have been venturing out into our front yard late at night and early in the morning to retrieve the newspaper or get the mail. Usually I'm completely naked when I get the newspaper, it's closer to the house than the mailbox and usually wear a shirt when walking one house down to the mailboxes to get the mail.
In this dream, I am walking out in the early morning to get the newspaper and a woman, not sure who she was, did not resemble any of our neighbors, is standing there when I stand up from picking up the newspaper. I am nude, she isn't, she looks me over and and shakes her head as if to sigh "you shouldn't be doing this," I nod my head, "yes", with a smile and she returns the smile and a wink, as if to say, "yeah, it's okay," and walks away. I turn, start walking back into the house and the alarm for my wife to wake and get ready for work goes off.
This is the only dream I can ever remember having or ever had where I was nude and someone else was not. Strange............... http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
BTW...we have one of those barking dogs next door but he goes off at about 10:30 pm every night and hasn't disturbed any of my dreams as of yet. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
