Valerie and I are looking for a cool license plate for the front of her new car...something that portrays nudism tastefully. Does anyone know of any sources? or have any ideas that we could have made up?

I had a vanity plate made last year for my car. The plate says INTBUFF. Which stands for "in the buff".

Cheers!

Good ideas. Florida doesn't have front plates so the graphic, color, text, etc.. can all be custom.

Hey Bob In The Buff. That sounds like a pretty cool license plate. Good selection. I would get one myself, but I am afraid what my family members,friends,co-workers, and fellow church members would say! If I lived in a state away from everyone, I would do it!

I don't know if this counts for anything or not. But I saw this one car that had the name and phone number of a nudist resort on the FRAME of their license plate one time. I believe it may been the former Treehouse Fun Ranch which was located in Devore,C.A. As I said, this reply may not be in compliance with the original question here.

I know a family who have NEWDEES as their license. Apparently very few people 'get it'.

As some of you already know, my plates are "N8URIST". http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/cool4.gif

Ken,

The funny thing is that only about 3 people asked me what my license plate stands for. I have parked my car at work, at church, at Boy Scouts and just about everywhere else and no one seems to care.

Most people now days do not care much unless you are in a real 'bible' state area. North Carolina refused to sell playing cards in stors until recently, really getting or got carried away. They also finally began state lottery.

Life and people change and life and people go on.

I saved the following clipping from an article about White Tail Park that ran in the Newport News Daily Press on July 8, 1988:

The number of characters permitted on a Virginia vanity license plate depends on the plate type. The "Scenic (Mountain to Seashore)" and "Scenic Autumn" plates permit up to seven characters plus a space. The following are some of the ideas that I've considered:

O2BNUDE
DOITNKD
SKNYDIP

The folks that maintain Haulover Beach sell a license plate that says, "Nude Beach". I bought one for a souviner even though I can't put it on my Minnesota car.

Nudist plates are a great idea but leaves you open to much controversy, especially in the work place. That could lead to CLM (Career Limiting Move), especially here in Va where everything is wrong, just everything!

I thought that was a National problem.

I guess that's what happens when you start calling elected officials "Law Makers". They think their job is to just keep making more laws.

Maybe we should start calling them "Representatives" instead. With hopes that over time, they will stop making so many laws and simply Represent the people that vote for them.
