I am a "closet nude". I,ve been one for years. That means I live the nudist lifestyle in the privacy of my own little house. Only wear cloths when going to town. I even go out under my carport nude even tho I live right on a buisy highway. What a thrill! Its one of the best ways to relieve stress. On a cool summers night with the lights out and a little bug spray its great. Fix one of your favorite drinks and let the world go bye. My porch is screened in with a TV and I enjoy my freedom in the fresh air. So far, I,ve been lucky. No one has ever seen me; that I know of. Even if they have, so be it. I ain,t got nothing to hide. Try it sometime. Its GREAT! It will be one of your greatest experience you,ll ever have. Privacy + nakedness= total freedom.

Anyone else out there goes nude outside? Tell me about it.

I only go naked outside my house at night. my yard is too exposed during the day. i will deal with the garbage cans on the side of the house, feed the cat, do my exercises and stretches on the dock by the lake, and enjoy my outdoor shower, all at night. during the day i wear a towel outside or shorts.

I have known my neighbors for many years now, but it wasn't until last year that I decided to go nude. I asked them if any objected, and they all stated they would not be offended. So the main reason for this post is this, ask your neighbors first. You cannot go wrong. If anyone objects, then you could possibly compromise the situation, i.e., go nude at certain times of the day or night. If no one objects, then you have the green light, such as myself, to go nude any time of the day. Working along with your neighbors could save a lot of embarassment, should the law ever find out. Good luck and hope the neighbors don't object.

I go naked outside of my house all the time too. I mainly go out there at night to swim, relax, or just to walk around my yard to enjoy myself nude. My yard in fairly private, but I do have neighbors who have a 2 story house. They have a balcony that over looks my yard, but they seldom come out on the balcony. If I am out there nude and my neighbors come out, I just slip down in to the pool or sit down at the patio table. During the day time I have full use of my yard since nobody is at home. Also, since I live in the desert I go out hiking nude. That I absolutely love to do. In just 15 minutes I can be wondering around the desert totally nude and exploring the wonderful landscaping.

We have friends at the beach who have installed an outside shower. My whole family loves it. It's always one of the highlights for me to be able to take a shower there after playing on the beach.

Bob put it in a couple of years ago and has not showered inside since, even when it gets cold.

i have a very private yard in which i can enjoy sunbathing. i'm nude when i'm out there weeding or cutting the grass. it's great!

The same is true for us. We have a private back yard. Block walls surround the property 6' high. We don't have two story homes on either side...the closest 2 story is 3 lots away. No way they can see into our yard.

We are nude in the backyard always. Nude inside almost always and I have been seeing how much public nudity I can get away with. Mostly at night but have driven home nude and get out of my SUV and walk into the garage naked. I put out the trash can occasionally, and have gone to the mail box a couple of times to get the mail. I do go out in the early morning to get the paper.

Drive nude alot. When we are on vacation, I make sure that we have the opportunity to drive nude in those places also. Driven nude in Canada, the east coast, St. Martin - French West Indies, Hawaii, California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Got a good start, wanna check off all of the United States!

My family are devoted to textiles - nudity, to them, is something private and sexual. Since I still live with my parents, it makes it difficult for me to practice my lifestyle. But, that's not to say that I don't take a hold of any opportunities that come my way! And they do come my way!!

We live in a rural area. Even though the yard is open, there are plenty of trees and such between our home and the neighbors. Unfortunately, the yard can be clearly seen from the street, so I confine my nude wanderings around the yard for late at night. After my family goes to bed, I take the dog for her last walk of the night. She also will alert me if anyone is approaching (I don't know how understanding my neightbors would be and if they would tell my parents.)

I also have a great friend (now bf), Steve, who is a nudist, and so are his family members. I spend a good deal of time other there, at their poolside side, nude with them. They have a privacy fence surrounding the backyard, so it's great.

I also take every opportunity to be nude at home when I am alone. Of course, I keep a look out for the return of my family so I can make a mad dash for some clothing.

I honestly wish I could be honest with my family, but I am certain it will cause such an argument that it isn't really worth it. Perhaps when I have a place of my own I can be more open about it with them.

Hey SkyClad...i am sorry that you can't be honest with your family but I am glad you found a great guy and another family that you can enjoy the nude lifestyle with...

Right now I only have one true nudist friend that I have actually only seen once, so of course I am looking to make more since i barely see my one friend all that much, but he is a great guy just busy with work....

It's also extremely hard to find people my age...As I am 20 and it seems like most of the people my age are closeted about it anyway...

As for my family...they know I like to be naked but I don't think they know I have been to a nude beach before...I think they have a hunch, but I doubt they are 100% sure...When the time comes I will definitely let them know...But not yet...

When they found out I liked to get newd none of them were surprised...well my brother was when he walked in on me...but that was really funny...I was exercising nude...but my mom was like you have always been like this and proceeded to tell me stories of me running around naked when I was younger...

So i guess i was a self raised nudist, I just didn't know it...

Anyway, it's awesome you found some people and I pray that you can one day share it with your family...

hello all, i just stumbled across this thread -

ed - i have minmum side yard at my house and that is where i put the outside shower. it only needs about five feet. fortunately my neighbors on that side are rarely outside, or they would hear the three kids and i talking and having fun in the shower at night as soon as it gets dark. my shower is not private yet in the back, so i am working on that, but for now, darkness is the answer. if they ever hear us having fun, i'm sure they will quickly figure out it is only an innocent shower with a naked family, nothing to get alarmed about. i have not showered inside since it has turned warm. for the winter, i intend on installing a wind device to block the wind, and see if that is good enough for our mild winters.

miami nudist - good luck with the one nudist friend (HEEE, HEEE), one day he will not be so darn busy and him and his family will meet up with you again. until than, good luck with finding more nudist friends especially the younger ones. we will keep you in mind should we ever find any fun nudist activities in our area.

as for the family, i have not told my parents, but i don't think they would care anyways. surely they have figured it out as they know our kids are naked at home alot and naked kids usually means naked parents, right? i have told my brother and sister about haulover and they are looking forward to going, with their boyfriend or wife. i have told them they could go with us, but they are not ready for that, YET.

I am so lucky with the boyfriend I have! If it weren't for Steve and his family, I would not be able to practice social nudity. I am 18 and have no money of my own to go vacationing at Nudist Resorts and so on.

I don't kow why its so hard to find people our age who are nudist. I would think that young people wouldn't be as inhibited about it as older. But its seems, so far, to be the other way around!

I hope your circle of nudist friends grows in leaps and bounds! I am just beginning this lifestyle, and I think its great.

I don't have a fence or any way to block the view of my backyard, but my wife and I lay in the sun nude all of the time. My neighbors are aware of us and don't mind at all, but we did confront them first.

We also lounge around the carport at night, don't know how the rest of the neighborhood would take it in the day light.

Stay nude when you can!

That's correct. Body inhibition normally persists until after the 'courtship phase' of human development has ended.

Of course, I'm talking about the inhibition that's artificially instilled by our society. Your boyfriend, being raised in a nudist family, never suffered this artificial taboo, so he isn't really your peer on this aspect of life.
