THE EDGE Radio Publicity event Christchurch New Zealand

That is an old event from 2005 I believe mentioned by Nudes in the News, and images were contributed by CFI members. There is several images of that event in Photos of Freedom, Miscellaneous, page 16 + -.

I've seen the photos of that event at that website. I think it would have been more interesting if there had been a video made of it, or at least captions or an accompanying article to explain what they were doing and why.
It was obviously well publicized, judging by the crowd that surrounds them. And well received, judging by the smiles on so many faces, and the many cameras used.

does anyone actualy KNOW what it was about?, or was it just another well organized oportunity for nudes to get nude for who cares what reason?

Well, according to the blurb introducing the photos, it was about prostate awareness. At least, from the site below.
Since the prostate is an internal part of the male sexual anatomy, and not seen, I guess they called attention to those parts that can be seen.
Everyone seemed to be having a good time, participants and observers alike, so it must have been a fun way to raise awareness of male health issues.
I would just like to either read a report of the event or see/hear a video to know more about how it was done. Was there real attention given to the supposed issues, or was it just an excuse for a naked lark? Why was an event on prostate awareness called National Penis Day? there are health issues of the penis itself, so did they discuss cancer, peyronie's disease, circumcision, etc?

That event by "The Edge FM radio station" was many moons ago on the 4th of August or September 2003 depending if you read the photo's page title or Yobbo's hyperlink to the photo album.

Besides what's already been posted about this event over 3 years ago, you would have to contact someone at "The Edge FM" web page or direct email as their web page has nothing on this past event, and the archives only go back to previous events/media for 2006

There evil plan was to coach as many of there listeners as possible, to take there cloths off in a public place
lay down on the ground in the shape of a big penis and be photographed . Lots of ti.ts,co.ks and as.es every where that day good stuff guys.
