As promised, I have created this forum for the posting of member's artistic compositions and creations - including poetry, photography, drawings, and any other art forms that can be expressed in a digital medium.
Submissions should be tasteful, non-sexual and preferably naturist oriented. Also, please refrain from posting copyrighted materials here.
Thanks & Enjoy!

Great idea for a new forum. However, when I tried to attach a Word document, it wouldn't let me ("images only"). Then, when I tried to attach an image, it was too big (anything over 150 won't attach). So, now I have to go back to work after wasting the past 20 minutes!
cheers

Wow sorry Journeyman! Thanks for trying tho! I'll look into the settings and see if there's anything I can do.
Why were you trying at attach a word document anyway? I'm not sure that's a good idea..

THIS forum is right up my alley! I have thousands of digital images that I have created over the years, but only a handful with a nuturist theme. I will try to be an active contributor to this forum.
Here is one to start.

Barb, they don't HAVE to be naturist themed it's just preferrable since this is a naturist forum. If you have some cool stuff we'd love to see it. Show us some samples. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

'Cos you mentioned something about poetry/writing, and since I'm a full time freelance writer, I thought I'd submit a brief article that was published a few years ago about (naturist) lifeguarding in Europe. Since we can't cut & paste on these posts, and I didn't want to re-type my article, I tried attaching it.

Why can't you cut and paste? I do it all the time..
Also folks: why don't we make a new post for each piece submitted here (i.e. don't post it in this thread). Let's try to keep things organized. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Ok, I've increased the max attachment size to 250k and set it to accept all different kinds of attachments, including MS Word docs.

That's nice but I'm not going to be reading any .DOC attachments (or running any .exe, either).
ASCII -- great idea. Even something as screwed up as WORD can read ASCII, but not everything can read .doc / Word.

I agree and that's why I originally said that it's a bad idea.. I think I'll have to renege on my decision and turn that option back off.

Very nice submissions!
I have tried using photoexpress to render a pose of mine, hope it meets with approval!
I have only a simple digital camera and am learning but I would like to pose for artists!

my avitar pic was taken by an art student after a drawing class....just a spur of the moment thing but it serves my purpose i think....not of a quality or style that would be distributed all over the net....not really showing my face and genitals but conveys a little something about me and the fact that i am clothes free....

orleans13, I think you summed it up so perfectly in both words and photography. I like Ben_m's current avatar for the same reason. Nicely put.

Would it be offensive if I posted photos of myself which focus on (in fact, closeup of) the genital? They are not the vulgar, sexually-excited, erect-penis type, but just closeups which I find quite artistic.
It seems to me that most naturist forums do not like photos that do not show the face of the subject. But since this is a forum for artistic expression, I thought I may give it a try.
Any comment?

SingNude,
Sorry on this site they are NOT allowed either, and would be removed if you posted them. Please go to the Terms of Service (http://clothesfreeforums.com/terms.html) and take note of what will be allowed on this site for uploading photos. As artistic as you and some others may find them INA must draw a line and stand firm with the TOS.

This is a drawing exhibited at the Victoria and Albert museum in London. For an exhibition called, "Inspired By..." You were supposed to be inspired by the works in the museum. Hope you like it.
Shot this one back in January hence the title 'Winter' .

Very nice! Please keep posting your excellent art work.
Of course, being Canadian, I was expecting to see a metre or two of snow. I think the Florida definition of "Winter" is what we in Canada call "End of Summer".
Thanks Theo for sharing another of your great B&W nude in nature series...Very nice!

This is my artistic expression. A digital picture that has been altered. I like working with pictures. Some interesting pictures can be created with a computer.
Latest one shot this past weekend. The Mrs. is the model. More to come as I work on post production.

If I may ask, approximately where was the photo taken?
NakedGary

Actually, posting attachments as photographs in a thread is ok, but it is preferable to add to a community photo album if in the same category as they are searchable, and Photo albums are listed. In a regular thread unless active, peeps forget where they saw attachments, and they are much harder to retrieve, list, scroll through, and copy & paste. Plus you can make comments in community albums, add to/delete/edit, and change the order or listing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is also in 'Artistic Expressions category a topic/thread "Trying out new software" thread for the purpose of displaying or posting images of or for "Digital Effects", morphing, line art, water color, painting, negative images as "Brave bare" and "John Sponner" have done in this thread "New Artistic Expressions Forum.
