We live a fairly short drive from Decatur, and would like recommendations from any people who have been to both and can tell us why to choose one over the other.

Thanks

When I lived in N.TX, I was a member at Wildwood. It's a nice club (with a Wi-Fi hotspot in their clubhouse) that has a lot of friendly members. They've got 2 Outdoor Swimming Pools, a Covered Hot Tub, and a nice Cross-Country Running Course/Nature Trail. In 2003, they had a couple of rooms for rent in the house that's near the entrance. A member has bought the house, and I'm not sure if they currently have any rental accommodations.

I've visited Bluebonnet several times for their 5K Race, and found the members there to be friendly, as well. (The owner, Lourdes Moss, is usually at all/most of the SWSA Races and was the "Women's Overall Winner" of the 7 race series in 2005.) They've got a larger Covered Hot Tub, a Sauna, an Outdoor Swimming Pool (I believe they're planning to build another pool), and a Nature Trail. They've got rental trailers and cabins.

The 2 clubs are only about 3 miles apart, so you might as well visit them both and see which one suits you the best.

We make it to Wildwood 2-3 times a year with our travel club and always have a great time. Connie keeps the place spotless and they WW folks are always very nice to us day visitors. We haven't been to BB in several years but we know it is much more lush and quieter than WW. If we could move to a nudist resort full-time tomorrow, right now WW would be our choice.

Stay real,

Mike
