Someone in another post asked about people going to hot springs. Those in Virginia may know about the Jefferson Pools. They are located way out in the mountains near Warm Springs, VA. These are original to Thomas Jefferson's time and have very old buildings built around the pools. They are gender segregated. The room is round with a skylight-type structure with the pool in the middle. There are about 7 changing rooms which are shared and most enjoy the pools nude (like 95% of the people). The only bad part is that you have to pay $12 to enjoy and if it gets crowded, your time can be limited.
Anyway, any others out there???

Are there gender specific pools or is it a coed pool with coed changing rooms?

So what would it take to desegregate'em? A coed sit-in? /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

California has a lot of natural hot springs that are in secluded areas and co-ed. In fact many people camp naked around the springs for weeks at a time. This is on Federal land under the control of Bureau of Land Management. The camping and use of the hot springs is free and the Ranger has no problem with nudity in the area.
Go to web site: http://www.hotspringsenthusiast.com/SiteMap.asp for additional information about hot springs in the US.
