There's been a lot of discussion on this. Use the search function, and you'll bring up a bunch of posts.

"Sea Mountain Inn" is also "Taboo Gardens". It uses the first name to market to nudists, and the second name to market to swingers/lifestylers. Same place.
Extensive discussion HERE (http://clothesfreeforums.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5600016152/m/5920020954/p/1)
Some people are looking for an adult only sexually 'adventurous' vacation resort. That's fine, Sea Mountain may be a good choice for them, but it isn't nudism - not as CFI, TNS and AANR promote it.
I've never been there, I've heard of a few nudists who went there and felt it had been misrepresented as a 'nudist' clothing optional resort rather than swinger oriented.

Sea Mountain Inn is smut. It is a place where flip flops should be manditory to avoid catching any STD's on one's feet. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/freak.gif

Doctor,
Does that mean you didn't enjoy your visit to Sea Mountain Inn?

Of course, you can't get STD's by stepping barefoot in anything. That's why they're called sexually trasmitted!

There are several reports on the resort at www.nudist-resorts.org (http://www.nudist-resorts.org) - just use the "search" feature there.

Doesn't appear that seamountainpeace wants to deny any of these alligations...hmmm.
I subscribed to their e-newsletter (being a local establishment) - canceled after the first one. This IS NOT a naturist resort!

well, I'm not sure if the OP is a troll post or not, but I'll assume that although it was their first post and their name is a variation on "imposter", they actually wanted some firsthand feedback and not just a way to have Sea Mountain remain at the top of the forum....
We visited Sea Mountain and found the rooms to be nice and well appointed, large comfortable beds with a flat screen TV. The grounds are well kept, although very small. The all female staff is VERY nice, always attentive and genuinely concerned that we were enjoying ourselves. The location is a bit out of the way, we found that getting too and from Sea Mountain is not a bright spot, and it is not near any nice restaurants or downtown type of activities.
The overall feeling is certainly more sexual than any other resort we've visited, but I think they are clear about that on their site if you read between the lines (or not so subtly if you look at the photos). We gave it a try and found that it is not for us, we just want to be nude in the sunshine, nothing else. I don't see how you could visit their site and not see that this is NOT a naturist destination if you're offended by public sex.
It is what it is, it's their place, their rules, their idea of fun in the sun. As I said, it's not for us, but it seems to be pretty popular with people looking for that experience.

On the previous "Eve" forums, "The Sea Mountain" thread and any links to the many different names of this other than family nudist facility was prohibited from being listed or hyperlinked, and the thread was closed and locked to further posting.
The closure and locked thread should follow through in the change over to vBulletin to be a "Read only" topic/thread.
