Hi all, new to the forums and relatively new to Los Angeles. Grad student at UCLA interested in trying to put together a UCLA student group to promote the benefits of naturism/nudism. Anyone else on the boards at UCLA or an alum? Hope to hear from you,

Hello UCLA dude. I want to welcome you to our forum. I should start out by saying that I am not a student at a college or university currently. But I also want to applaud your efforts as well as wish you the very best of luck. I have found it extremely difficult to push the idea or concept of nudism or naturism out here in Southern California because people in general tend to be very conservative. But please do not let this discourage you in your quest. Once again, a hearty welcome and good luck!

'81 Alum here in Palm Springs. I always pushed the envelope when I was there, sleeping nude in the dorms, skinnydipping in the gym's pool and hitting Pirate's Cove nude beach, but it would have been great to have a Bruin nudist group. Good luck!

Thanks for the support! Seeing as how A) there are 30,000 students at UCLA--not to mention young alumni who are still closely connected and B) there are two great beaches just down in San Diego County...this should be easy, right? http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif

Sweaty, I'm out in Palms Springs for a week in August for school. You'll have to fill me in on the places to go while I'm there.
