It's National Chocolate Covered Raisins Day.
(Damn, those 'Chocoholics' found a way to sneak in another holiday.)

If you have a pet rabbit, caution is advised.

When are we gonna get a national "There's nothing special about this day" Day?
Who comes up with these things anyway?

IT'S THE RAISINHOLICS!!! I tell you they want to take over the world. Today chocolate covered raisins, tommorow caramel covered raisin, then who knows what happens.

Steve (Nude In The North) the answer to your first questions is Sunday March 26th ... that is the official "Make Up Your Own Holiday" Day.
You know there had to be one.
As to your second question ... these holidays and/or celebrations are made up by and for various groups ... all are real ... odd as some may be.
To see a listing of each month for Monthly, Weekly and Daily Celebrations and/or Holidays check out Brownielocks (http://brownielocks.com) it is a site designed for general audiences (mainly children) but does list all the odd celebrations you'd ever want to know about.
The webmaster/Mom even lists National Nude Week and Naturist Days (in the USA and the rest of the world, respectively).
Known, Not So Known, and Really Obscure Celebrations are listed there.

I LOVE raisins!!
Unfortunately, if I have any more than a small handful, only the truely brave would want to be down-wind of me! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/anxious.gif
