View Full Version : Where'd Everything Go?

Something strange happened while I was reading the posts. I posted an answer on one subject. After reading another post I clicked the back button and got the message that there were no new posts. What happened to all the posts that were there? There were quite a few that I hadn't read yet, but they disappeared. /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Jon-Marc,
I may be wrong, but when you attempted to go back to read the posts of the day, you had, by then, passed the 3 AM Michigan time, which, by then, was just past midnight by Pacific Time, (INA's time in California) and since it had become another day in California, you got the message that there was no posts yet for the day.

David,

Isn't INA is in California? Their time is three hours BEHIND us. It should have been earlier there and not later, or am I confused as usual? /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Yes, true.

"Their time is three hours BEHIND us. It should have been earlier there and not later"

This is also true, as I see it.
California's MIDNIGHT is earlier than Michigan's simultaneous 3 AM.

"or am I confused as usual"?

Certainly not, as you are usually exceptionally clear and lucid in your posts, kind to all and not arrogent.

I'm thinking the reason is because you clicked the Back button.
Doing that brought you back to the page as it was before you added your post.
Next time in happens Click "clothesFree.com/forums" to take you to the updated page.

Nude in the North,

I don't understand that. I ALWAYS click on "Back" to go back to the previous page, and that has never happened before. Anyway, it hasn't happened since either. It's just one of those unexplainable things that computers do.

At work, every time I change my password, the computer won't let me in the next day. I work for the government, and we have to change our password every 3 months, and it won't let us use one we've used before. That's four passwords per year, and it gets difficult to think of something. /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
