If you have little overweight it is very common. Your tool do not like cold watrher and goes in in the warm. Do not worry about it.

Mine does the same thing sometimes. I have a few extra pounds on me, and have heard that for every 20 pounds of extra weight one carries means a loss of half an inch in penis length. Look at it this way, a garden hose looks longer on a cottage than on a mansion.
We ran into a newlywed couple at a pool recently. The husband was a large man, and kept his shirt on. After a while he took it off and got into the pool rather than watch his bride swim by herself. I give the man alot of credit for finally having given into a "who cares" body image of himself.

Interesting. I had never heard of that before. Is it a form of "shrinkage" or is it something else altogether?
I am actually fairly skinny; under certain circumstances, I will actually shrink down to the size of my pinky finger. But to me, that's nature's way of allowing me to run and jump around without having to worry about the "flapping effect." I've never worried about it.

This is a very normal action. The penis, being outside the body, is prone to temperature differences. For protection, the body will remove blood from it so it will retract next to the body for heat. Your scrotem will do the same thing and is not unusual for the testes to retract back to near inside the body also. The colder the outside, the greater the protection.
Likewise, when warm everything will be further out for cooling. A very natural body function. Nothing to be ashamed of nor worried about.

So my girlfriend and i have been doing the whole naturist thing for a few years, and i feel that she is embarresed of me sometimes because my penis goes back up into my body. She understands it is a medical condition, but isn't always confortable with me being nude in front of other people (I am normal length when aroused). Does anyone else have this problem? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

You say you "feel" she is embarrassed at times but you seem to have talked to her about it as you say she understands the condition but isn't always "comfortable" with you being nude in front of other people.
So do you just feel this or do you actually know she is embarrassed? Did she tell you she was embarrassed to be with you around other nudes? If so, what is the reason she gives? After "Doing the whole naturist thing for a couple of years", you each should have seen that the small penis is no "big" deal even if it retracts.
What type of nude events have you attended and how often do you two attend?

This just happens, don't worry about it, or try not to. When it's cool outside, "it"/He....LOL takes to the warmth. NORMAL....
No fear, it's just how it is.
Plus, who cares? There is nothing wrong with you. *Damn cold weather*

Big Guy did not mention anything about cold weather. Whether Big Guy is overweight or not is not clear to me though the screen name may suggest he is.
I'm not sure what "medical condition" causes a penis to retract inside the body. Isn't that the way it is supposed to work! Different men have different level of retraction -- some retract a lot, some do not retract at all. To me that is just variation, not a medical condition. For me personally, I would just echo what Nudony said, except that I could stand to lose a few pounds.

I have seen this on some guys at nudist gatherings. It seems to happen with a man who's a bit, or more than a bit, overweight, and what it can end up looking like is a penis that's an "innie" rather than an "outie". I imagine what happens is that the flesh gets put on in a way that surrounds the penis rather than carries it out as if on a rising tide (so to speak). But then, if that didn't happen, you'd have to wonder what the penis was attached to, and whether the urethra stretched as the body expanded. I do wonder if it's messy for a guy like that to take a leak.
Another reason to keep the pounds off!

When a person is overweight, fat accumulates in the area above and around the penis, blocking out the view of the penis. Liposuctioning out that fat around the penis would make the penis stand out, but I have not personally known of anyone who has had liposuction to that area, but probably persons who have liposuction in the belly area also have liposuction to this suprapubic area. However, this suprapubic area can be "reshaped" alone by itself, to allow normal view of the penis.
In addition, some persons actually have an apron of fat and skin that blocks the view of the penis, and I sympathize. See;

Why worry about the penis retraction?. If there are people that are staring at your penis to check it out, then those people are not in the right frame of mind for a true nudist.

AND,It's also a state of mind. Men can only think with one head at a time.( so the theory goes). Anyway, it's a fact that when you are thinking very hard, or worrying something over. or even strenously exercing, the blood is re-directed from there to where it is needed. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
Nothing to worry about. Read the thierd sentence, and quit worrying! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
