House Democrats passed all of their promised bills from the fall of '06 that they said they would pass in the first 100 hours Congress was in session with 13 hours to spare!
Not only was this accomplished, but thougher regulations on ethics and other rules of the Congress were enacted.
At least some keep their word.

And they did so amid a cresendo of silence from our resident wing nuts. And Johnson is making strides in his recovery.
But, just wait until the committees get to work and have some traction. The investigation into the run up to the invasion and occupation of Iraq will be very revealing. Dang them old chickens, a comin' home ta roost.
The Senate will move a bit more slowly, but we'll get there.

Unfortunately the resident wingnuts have begun screeching and caterwauling again.
Oh well, it was pleasent for a time anyway.
