I'm not sure of the hours, but feel free to pop up in the Chat room at times. You will find others who enjoy chatting too. I have been there a couple of times, and it is a great way to get more personal with other members. The chat room is open 24/7/365. You can always just check in, minimize the chat screen, and when someone else jumps in you will get an audible chime or bell, I think...

I will go out of my way to say that the chat times posted on the page are suggestions, but it's open all the time, any time.
