Well i am going to Apollo beach Saturday and i wont to bring my camera. i have a pocket tripod that i could use. but from what i have seen at Apollo beach people tend to not interact with each other but i have only been there in the summer. but when i went it was early on the week end i am thinking of going around lunch time. but the question i am trying to ask is should i bring my camera and would there be more people------and 1 more thing ever time i went before on a week end the road after ramp 4 was closed it said closed for repair i looked with me binoc's and saw nothing but at the welcome center i over herd something about ramp 5 only being open on weekends. it is still closed when i got there how should i walk to my space should i srip right at the sing or when i get to my spot.

Strip when you get to the nude section, not before. Get dressed on the nude section when you are ready to leave.
I personally wouldn't take a camera unless I was with at least one other nudist (to take a few trip photos of one another). All I can say is be careful - and tasteful - and don't point it at anyone but yourself. Failure to do so may be hazardous to you, and your camera could end up in the Atlantic.

I agree with what Doug said about the camera. Why would you WANT to bring it? It coukd make other people there very suspicious of you.
The only situation where I would even THINK of bringing a camera would be if you were with a group of friends, and were very careful to take pictures only of each other.

Actually I took some great photos at Appolo Beach some years back. They were B&W landscape, of the surf, sand and ocean (no people). These photos were taken in the nude section.
I think that if people see you with a camera, far from them, and not aimed at them, it's no problem. If, on the other hand, you are wanting to take photos of nude people without their permission, then that's an issue. If you aren't sure, go explain to them your intentions and ask them if they mind if they get caught in the background . . . who knows, maybe you'll even make a friend.

The beach looks the same in the clothed section of the beach, where cameras are welcome and unintrusive. If you want to take pictures of scenery and nature, that will suffice. If you want to take pictures of "nude" then you should not, without permission...and the answer will invariably be No.
Better to leave it at home http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif

bring a sketch pad and pencil. It is a far more creative and kosher way of capturing the nude beach you see and enjoy.
